Mad Jack McMad.
-
I never stopped believing.

He's the Kinder player I'd go for. Sweet.

How many points do Everton need to mathematically finish 7th? 104?
-
To clarify I would forget talking about who is in the final, it's about who wins it, if it one of those three we'll likely get a Europa slot in seventh (unless Liverpool finish eighth and win the cup of course, then they'd get it). A big two final allows us to know earlier, but not essential - the losing finalist can be anyone.

I said we'd score.
-
We are definitely going to score.
-
We are never, ever, ever going to score.

As far as I can see you didn't mention Cortese in your original post anyway. ....... Edit: Sorry, now read the post above (which you didn't quote). Would disagree with the notion that Cortese somehow got loads of flak but the new regime don't. People seem to be forgetting Sky Sports, Daily Mail and co crawling up Cortese's harris. Where was all this "flak"?

You still have time to dig out irrelevant stories about people not being stabbed in tiny little old Hampshire, though.

"Johnstones Paint Trophy, you'll never win that....."

Didn't realise anyone was fearing anything. Just a pointless idea. -

Blimey. Why did they all vote for that crock of sh it? Was galling enough when we were in L1 but being drawn against, say, Fulham reserves in the JPS cup would have been horrible. -
I used to like > Get behind the.......FFS. Originally "the lads" but became all manner of stupid phrases. Always made me smile. > We will walk this league. Self explanatory. Also evolved to various other things we will walk.

England footballer 'arrested over underage sex allegations'
CB Fry replied to Twiggy's topic in The Lounge
Guaranteed a game for Oldham when he gets out, anyway. -
In fairness, not that many steps back in the last five years. Also in fairness we are never going to relentlessly move upwards until we win the league. The scenario you outline, to be honest, seems fine to me.

They've never given a place to the LC runner up.

You need to reconcile yourself with what "Champions League ambitions" actually meant, and what Les, Ralph and Ron have been saying all season. We were never going to go all out splashing the cash to crack the Champions League. It was never going to happen. We will do things sustainably, we aim to be "the best of the rest", and finish as high up the league as possible. Maybe Ronald should have signed a striker instead of Elia or Djuricic. Maybe. He didn't. That's a bit of a shame but I am delighted we didn't sign Defoe or Bent or some other panic buy. You can be disappointed but the club never said they would go all out beyond the credo of the club already outlined.

We don't have Jermaine Defoe.

We don't buy success, we breed it. We march on.
