Reading will end in the top 6. They are very slow starters and then tend to go on a great run from December onwards. I think they are nmore likely to get a playoff place than us. As I have said all along mid table will do me with promotion next, but if we do go up then bonus!!

Everyone knows we need a centre back, or even 2. Just take a look at the Ipswich game, and the shambolic end to the Barnsley game, as well as today! It does not take a manager of a football team to work this one out. Also I am not really sure we need a striker and if we do it needs to be someone as good as we have got already. I do not want us to go out and spend silly money on a player though, just because we have the cash. Panic buys never work, and we have to remember that there are many clubs after the same players. the club need to want to move the player on, and in many cases have another player lined up to replace them. The player also needs to want to make the move and the agent needs to try and get the best deal for the player as well. Not an easy process. I think it is good that we are not flashing the cash, just because we have it, and it is important to find a player who wants to play for Southampton Football Club, and is not rocking the boat as he earns more than the others. The team is well balanced with players that want to be here and play for each other. Please remember that mis-management was the reason we went into administration just over 2 years ago!! We will bring in another centre back before the window closes and in plenty of time for the Forest game. If not we will bring in a loan player, but the important thing is he has to be right for Southampton FC. If we do not sign anyone that is because we have not been able to find anyone for the right money, who is any better. One step at a time lads, I was happy for mid table this season as still will be, and then promotion next. Playoffs this season would be a dream, but lets keep our feet on the floor, and will will get back where we belong, in the Premier League.

Have no problem with Orange and prefer it to Vodafone. I used to be on Vodafone but my nutcase of an ex worked for them at the time, so I changed to Orange and it has stuck since!!

I think this is a big loss and it also adds quality to another team in our league who are going to be pushing for promotion. He played most of QPR's games last season. I just hope we have as good defender lined up to sign!!!

They feel that at every opportunity they have to get on the TV or radio and say that they are the biggest club on the south coast. I just do not understand the logic in this? They quite clearly are not at this current moment in time!!

If you trip someone up it is a foul, if you only just touch them or completely take them out, it does not matter. Tripping is a foul and a free kick.

Davies without a shadow of a doubt, was left exposed completely 4 or 5 times, and made a gret double save within this as well. Without these saves we would have been lucky to get 1 point!!

What is it with the tatters on TV and radio this season saying 'he barely touched him' or 'only slight contact' when it comes to the giving of free kicks. Now my understanding is that if you foul someone it is a free kick no matter how much contact there is?

Not sure it is a good choice to pack the midfield in a home game to Millwall!! I should think one of those midfielders will be pushed up a bit! 1-1 all over this game. A score that happens a lot with Millwall and Saints

Nope just think things were not happening from midfield as we would have wanted, so changed it slighly more of a creative choice.

I do not have a problem with Brighton at all, I quite like the City and I like the long suffering football club. I was at the last game at the Goldstone Ground, and they got right up the swanny. I am not sure how they are still going as a football club, let alone being right up there with us in the NPC. I do not like their manager, I think he is completely up himself and puts pressure on ref's just because he is Gus Poyet! I do not really like the way they are just behind us, but I have to take my hat off to them, as they seem to have the winning formular as well. I would love to see them come up with us!!

I have said it before and will say it again, if you cannot enjoy football when it is this good, then you will never enjoy it. Keep banging in the goals and I will keep this big smile on my face. In fact just keep winning and I will be a very happy chappy. I cannot put into words how proud of the club/team I am at the moment, and I cannot wipe this smug look off my face.... I love Saints!!

Over the season I expected us to be mid table.... keep the winning run going and anything is possible. I had a dream before the start of the season that we won the first 20 games.....lol.
