I'd be more than happy if he stabilises the club this year puts a smile on our faces & starts winning some games. He the puts in place the board staff ect to start moving us forward for next season. As the late George Reader (ex-saints Chairman) once said make haste slowly. This season is all about putting the building blocks in place for me.

Whilst I have reservations about Wotte, I must commend him on how he has handled the situation & how he has stuck by the club when it would have been easy to walk away. He deserves to be given the chance to change our fortunes & most of our minds about his managerial expertise. Not sure anyone could have saved us last year, but that's another thing, If he's given the opportunity to re-build & then gets the results well fair enough. But its short term & results based for me do the buisness & see about longer term then.

Heard the news about Pinnacle on the way to work & had a quick look on here at Lunch time, and whilst being as gutted as everyone else about the situation. I'm amazed at the attacks on Matt, out of all of our ex players HE has stood up to be counted & tried his best for the club he love's, could he have done any more I seriously doubt it, Did he let his love for the club cloud his judgement, who knows. Until we know the full facts about the problems with the FL then I will reserve my judgement about Tony Lynam & his influence on this. But Matt has only had SFC interests at heart. Thanks for at least trying Matt. I just feel this is more to do with something else they want to hit us with just my opinion. All we can do is pray that there is a last minute reprieve PLEASE.

All things looking very depressing this morning, guess we will know if we have a future today one way or another after Fry's statement. Hope I'm wrong but just don't see Pinnacle seeing this through. just hope that the Swiss or somebody else are prepared to save us, but doesn't look good when Fry's selling of players under them?? Is it he doesn't see a take over happening Or am I on the wrong track here?

Going to be another agonising week me thinks & I'm still not convinced its going to be a happy ending , being the pessimistic type.

Have to say he came across OK to me but as they say talk is cheap, I'm still not convinced they will pull this off. I guess tomorrow will be yet another D-Day for us. I was at work as an apprentice when one of the lads in the tool room Pete strolled over about 3.0pm & casually said You've Signed Keegan. To which I remember replying F**K off your taking the P**s, Refused to believe it until I got home & heard it on Solent news. Cant describe the feeling, what an immense signing as I think he was European player of the year at the time. And the way Lawrie Mac played that press conference, & then unveiled KK fantastic memories. Sad It ended the way it did, kind of make's me a bit cautious about him & not so trusting of the man, would be happy if he were to come as a director of football, but not convinced about him as our next manager.

That's in your less than humble opinion I take it?
