My only thought about the downside of video replays is that it'd take the "fun" out of the game. The bit when the crowd are angry about the refs decisions which gets the volume going again or the bit afterwards in the pub when you debate the decisions good or bad. In general, I do think some modernisation is needed, but I do fear it'd make the crowd even more sterile. Thoughts?

If that happened, it'd show politics up to be a bigger fraud than anyone could have imagined. The SNP + Conservatives are as unaligned (so Nicola Sturgeon would have us believe) as Kinnock + Thatcher.

I wouldn't be surprised by anything, however the one thing stopping that is the old guard from each side who are "anyone but Labour" and "anyone but Tory". Both sides still have them.

Why is it the club's fault? He was told he was a squad player and not automatic first 11, he wanted to be in the first 11 in a team, so he's now at Swansea. It's not difficult. What is the point in keeping someone who wants to progress when we can't offer him that? Granted, he's doing okay at Swansea, but we couldn't him what he wanted. Simple as that.
