  1. Well we can't when he's nowhere near fitness.
  2. You really are in a minority with that one.
  3. As I've just said, there is an U21s championship next year, what better than to progress as a team, learning about team work and how to progress through the rounds in the championship? It's a valuable learning experience that is available to them, next year. Something that'll benefit them and the 'main' England team in the 2016 championships.
  4. Why can't you answer his well laid out points?
  5. It's a better route for them in terms of learning - they'd get even more game time and the chance to play in the U21 championship next year. How much learning would they get from doing well in that championship? Learning about the pressures and what it takes to progress through the rounds. Not to mention crucial team bonding. Other countries use their U21s a lot more, we definitely should, especially with the opportunity of next year. I'd also add Chambers to the list.
  6. Henderson was playing well last season, but he seems to have regressed. Shame as he was looking to push on - maybe he's just suffering a lack of confidence playing in a poor team that is under pressure?
  7. Sterling and Shaw should still be in the U21s!! Totally back Gareth Southgate asking for them to be in his squad, it'll make them far better players.
  8. Had forgotten about that!
  9. But I AM knowledge ...
  10. I can't wait to see us lift the trophy at the San Siro, 2 months before my 40th birthday; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_UEFA_Champions_League_Final
  11. I find it amazing - isn't the comet travelling at something like 34,000 mph as well? Brilliant!
  12. But they weren't. I'd be careful about the information you share on the internet too. Ched EvAns faced a jury, they saw all the evidence and convicted him beyond reasonable doubt. All these little wannabe jurors on here who are lapping up what's been planted in the media without seeing all the evidence make me cringe. Personally I just think he's getting too much air time, full stop.
  13. And wow ... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/used-cars/fiat/barchetta/used-fiat-barchetta-radlett-fpa-201410188317528?logcode=p Perfect project car! Paintwork is sh*t, interior needs looking at, but it's cheap as anything - has to be a proper future classic, right?? Edit: Although that one isn't great, the doors don't align and are a different colour and maybe it's been in a crash. This one looks better: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/used-cars/fiat/barchetta/used-fiat-barchetta-fpa-201411108881593?logcode=p
  14. I couldn't agree more with this, I'd absolutely love one ... I now have bad thoughts. My garage could do with an occasional car like that in it ... I have a feeling my wife is going to kill me in the morning as I'm off to trawl Autotrader ..........
  15. Wouldn't be surprised if he turned up at PSG or Real etc. I can't see him going to another Premier League club, except perhaps Arsenal if Wenger has finally realised what he's missing in his team ...
  16. As we're outside the transfer window, maybe they should look at the Chairman free agent list and get Cortese on a trial?
  17. Who writes this stuff? Not the content as I have no reason to doubt that part of it, but the construct, the grammar and some of the wording used is very, erm, basic. Could have been written by a 12 year old.
  18. Shush, don't tell everyone Agree, that is a very good price - however he wasn't playing week in week out and the "big clubs" don't want to take a gamble on those sort of players, they just want to buy them when they have proven themselves at other teams. See Lovren as a perfect example of this.
  19. Oh didn't see Gibbs was picked, well then yes, that is ridiculous.
  20. I think we've seen that Roy and his team will only pick players based on a sustained run of form and that once you're in the team, you're hard to drop, regardless of form. I imagine Ryan will be in the England squad some time in early 2015 though - although if Shaw and Baines carry on playing well it'll be hard, it's a position we're blessed in. Personally I'd keep Shaw in the U21s - in fact I would all our younger players, doesn't hurt other countries does it?
  21. They're Champions League, they're Champions League Saints Media Dept They're Champions League
  22. Get him signed up!
  23. As I said before, I fully agree with the notion that his group of Spurs players are just too far up their own backsides to want to listen to him and work harder. Under Nigel, we had a very well rounded group of blokes and young lads who got on, were down to earth (Nigel style) and wanted to learn, develop and push on up the leagues together. Pochettino inherited that lot and they generally all looked as if they lapped up the new instructions as we kept more clean sheets and looked a step on again. It's probably also why Pochettino likes the academy players so much, because they are younger and more willing to listen and try new things? At Spurs, he does not have a group of well rounded lads who have come on a journey together. He has a group of highly paid individuals who expected Champions League football. Although I really did think he'd get more from them than he has, especially Lamella.
