  1. I read that too - hopefully he's either realised for himself or someone on his team who is sensible (Gary Neville perhaps?) has made this recommendation. We all love Rickie, but as England fans, it'll be ridiculous if he plays. Although we're not exactly blessed with quality strikers, especially with Sturridge out.
  2. I don't think there is any surprise in that though? The two teams all the fans wanted to beat (and maybe a couple of the players too), it was inevitable they'd be the teams we'd lose against ... There is no reason we can't win our home fixtures against the Manchester teams, on current form.
  3. Isn't that 5th favourites as Chelsea aren't even on that list?
  4. Ah superb, that's exactly what my Dad had when they first came out, same colour too - I remember it well!!
  5. "When I hear them sing Play Up Pompey at the start of the match, it makes my head tingle, I've always belonged there" Division 4, his f**king destiny.
  6. Needed a huge kick up the backside, but he is undoubtably quality and will be world class. Perfectly happy with £30m though.
  7. Best thing you've ever posted!
  8. LOL!!!! Whoever told you that is lying, sorry.

His beard had alluring powers though.
  10. Did you get bored in League 1 and the Championship when we were winning most of our matches? I certainly didn't!
  11. God he's a prat. Love that we are 11, yes, ELEVEN points ahead of them. That means we need to lose 4 and they need to win 4 to change positions ... Happy Christmas Saints
  12. I'm blaming you when I could have just read the date myself ...
  13. Great link then, thumbs up to the original post.
  14. Isn't that a rehash of exactly the same article that appeared in the Evening Standard last week by someone else??
  15. I guess the trouble is that most cars from the 80s and 90s are unbelievably ugly. I can't think of any I'd want as a "classic". I suppose the best I can think of would be a Jaguar XJS; http://www.autotrader.co.uk/used-cars/jaguar/xjs/used-jaguar-xjs-bilston-fpa-201411048739470?logcode=p Sierra Cosworth? (I vomited in my own mouth with that one though) Renault 5 turbo (are there ANY left?) A 1980s Saab 900 Turbo?? Dunno, it's a real void in my opinion for potential classics.
  16. lol @ Lovren joining a Champions League club and not playing at one of the biggest clubs in the world tonight, prat.
  17. You really know how to p*ss on a bonfire I'll go back to my cupboard.
  18. I'd be happy if Saints paid Liverpool their money back for him ...
  19. Agree with Pap, I'd still have Rickie back in a heartbeat - especially with an impending suspension for Pelle coming up ... but I digress, that really was excellent and I too had to man up and pretend my eyes weren't going damp.
  20. Agreed! Not to mention beating Swansea and Arsenal away (okay that was in the cup, but how many other teams go there and win?)
  21. Ah good point, yes, I'm just used to my office view of working where asking for overtime would be laughed at
  22. What's overtime anyway? Does anyone actually receive that? My contract is for 35 hours a week (which is actually quite low in my opinion) and I get 30 days holiday with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days. I don't think I've done a 35 hour week yet - I just do what's required of me to get the job done.
