  1. Interesting, didn't know that! What odds he'll end up at Man Utd then? Or Liverpool who seem to never have enough attacking midfielders. The only thing I DO think is a shame is that I don't think he's developed enough at Arsenal, not as much as he should have. Theo has been injured a lot but is still a very good player on his day, Alex I'm not sure about.
  2. Jesus, come on Tim, you can do better than that! And to answer, no, I just think he's an irritating c*ck.
  3. But then so should Chamberlain who couldn't wait to join Arsenal and people applaud!? I don't see the difference. He could have been an even better player had he given Saints another year of first team football.
  4. Walking around in a new (off the shelf) suit, playing intern and setting chairs up, of course.
  5. ******** to him, he left, we got some cash, couldn't care less how does in the future.
  6. Rule 1, luv.
  7. It's exactly why I chose a Merc ... either that, or I'm getting old
  8. I bet you DO have balls ...
  9. It's frustrating for impatient drivers, but as well as rising two abreast, cyclists can also ride anywhere in the lane if the inside is uneven - and which road is smooth these days? Cars have to use the other side of the road to overtake. I do have issues with poor visibility at the moment, so many cyclists with dull clothes and/or dull lights. When I leave the station on my commute home, there are a load of people who cycle, most of them are very good and do all the right things, apart from the odd one who doesn't seem to care he's invisible. Mind you, same with pedestrians. I'm trying to leave the station onto a busy road, cyclists coming from behind on both sides, cars queuing, cars entering from the left and right to get out, then pedestrians with black coats/clothing suddenly emerge once you've worked out what's going on.
  10. Has that rule changed? I thought you could never enter a box junction as well ... guess I don't know my highway code after all. I'm quite surprised by that. Although if you think about it, it does make sense to prevent the exact scenario that TwoPints said.
  11. He would love Bournemouth currently, they seem to be splashing money around left, right and centre!! He'll have Sandro, Yakabu and Defoe in there quicker than you can say 'triffic'.

  13. This is like a time warp. I remember an old Saintslist gathering circa 1998 and then someone organising similar around 2002/3 from here (or previous version). Next, someone will start to build a bloody seating plan so you can all locate each other in the stadium ...
  14. Wait until he blocks you on Twitter as well, because he's really very cross
  15. WTF is a "messenger bag"?
  16. Nah, it's a cover up
  17. I have form, but not me this time, I'm retired (apart from the occasional trolling session)
  18. Agree - I haven't used one for years. Last two jobs have been by recommendation through the role I had at the company before that, which was a job where they approached me. I get recruiters spamming me for jobs that are not appropriate (they get pointed to my LinkedIn page) and also offering me made up CVs of fictional people to fill roles I don't have. They get blocked. So yes, Crazy Diamond, just use LinkedIn. It really is the best job-seeker tool and also I'd say to pick a company (or companies) you'd like to work for and look directly on their websites.
  19. Let's face it, Barrow had been an annoying little c*ck all game. Ryan was just waiting for his moment and whilst initially I didn't think it was a red, there was a purpose behind that challenge.
  20. Okay, will bookmark this
  21. If you're a 17 year old female, or a simpleton, generally driving a Corsa in an obnoxious colour, you will often be seen with "eyelashes" on your headlights. Behold: https://careyelashes.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/fiat-500-car-eyelashes.jpg?w=960 (Okay it's a Fiat, but it's a sh*t colour, with eyelashes)
  22. Generally, I'm sat in the outside lane, so I haven't had to slam on the brakes because some bellend think they're old bill and they better slow from 74 to 64. FFS! But yes, I know what you mean
  23. I laugh at the numpties who slow down for those vehicles, makes me laugh, a lot.
  24. So who was it who said Ings would definitely be joining Saints after this season? I'm sure someone said it on here.
  25. It's common sense though isn't it, in my opinion anyway. If you're in the inside lane and approach a slip road, if the motorway permits, you move to the middle lane to allow joiners to join, safely. It's pretty much how the motorways work in Europe anyway. Obviously different on a busy motorway but you can still be courteous. For many years, I've just stuck to the outside lane anyway, it's so much less hassle. Occasionally I'll see someone coming who is going quicker and move over when I can, but generally people seem to have slowed down a bit - you don't get many going 90+, the roads are just too busy. But generally in the outside lane, you avoid trucks, old people (who can be bloody dangerous), non-indicators and the moronic drivers (holding mobiles etc.) I've also found that the faster the car you drive, the less likely you are to be tailgated and on the rare occasion you are, it's more fun to leave them for dead (childish, yes yes)
