There is nothing that comes close to running and weight loss. In 2009, I ran 5 times a week, ate a cooked breakfast at work, had a meal at work, had a meal at home and still lost 3 stone in about 4/5 months. I was only running 5-10km each time, but it made a huge difference.
I don't have that diet any more as I eat more healthily, but thanks to commuting more (working in London) and not running, that 3 stone is back on.
