1. Man Utd 2. Chelsea 3. Man City 4. Arsenal 5. Liverpool 6/7/8/9. Spurs, Saints, Swansea, Palace (!?) ... actually, could through in Everton and Newcastle too. Could be an interesting season, but I can't see that not being the top 5, in that order, bar a spectacular f**k up by Man Utd. Relegated; Could be many, but Bournemouth, Watford, Sunderland.

Exactly this and/or a "look we don't need to sign your player, we have other options" type of game.

The Spuds Saga.....for better or worse
Patrick Bateman replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
I think we seem to have a load of fans who thinks Saints deserve to keep all their players. We're still way down the pecking order and thankfully we always will be as we won't then attract even more (clueless) new generation football fans. I do agree with you on Spurs fans, I know one that's a good bloke, the others are complete helmets. But let's not become like them, that's my point as we've generally been a club supported by people who are pragmatic and know their football, with the odd sprinkling of old moaners ... GET IT FOORWWARRD. -

Exactly, I expect loads of bile from Celtic and Feyenoord fans. -

When did Saints fans become so bitter about other clubs? -
I know it was tongue in cheek, but that's actually pretty good. We haven't used that tune for a while either, have we??

Closed doors friendly against Brighton today.....
Patrick Bateman replied to tisspahars's topic in The Saints
I miss those days. A full strength team and 2 'mystery trialists'. Now it's just a load of helmets on Twitter and other social media forms pretending they know something and passing off other people's info as their own. It's boring and tedious. -

What is that absolute disgusting mess of a 'human'? -
Southampton St Mary's, yeah? Do I need to point this out; "The club has been nicknamed "The Saints" since its inception in 1885 due to its history as a church football team, founded as St Mary's Church of England Young Men's Association (or St Mary's Y.M.A) and has since generally played in red and white shirts." and "St Mary's Church one of two Christian Churches in the area the other being St Michael's 1000 years old Saxon church are members of the local parochial council which serves many Christians in the area as well as many West African people. The church has peels of bells which ring on a Monday night bell practice. Famed for the bells of St Mary's sang by Bing Crosby." FFS.

Likewise. And from now until the end of August this forum will be full of utter helmets (more so than normal) pretending to know this and that, whinging about signings/no signings. So for that reason, I'm out. -
Ah good, I look forward to seeing some bizarre goalmouth activity against Arsenal, on Match of the day next season.

What is a fair deal for the UK within the EU?

And that is £8bn too much, in my opinion. I'm not going to argue, that's just what I think. -

Very quick off the top of my head and trying not to sound like Farage, but I'd guess something like; 1. Stop having laws imposed on us (no examples to hand though, although I know there are many pointless laws and regulations that have been imposed) 2. Make it slightly harder for EU migrants to work here (speaking to my Indian and US colleagues, they think it's unfair that they have to go through all the expensive hoops to secure a tier 2 visa, yet someone from the EU outside of Britain and can just waltz in and work here - an interesting viewpoint from an 'outsider'?) 3. Stop giving the EU so much money for so little in return and ask for a full itemised bill of where it all goes - if we thought our MP expenses were bad, I dread to think what the EU/MEP expenses are like That's just 3 headlines from me anyway that I can quickly think of before I run to a meeting. -
Good. Come on Norwich, knew they'd turn Middlesbrough over
-
To be fair, Bruce shouldn't have had that side anywhere near relegation. He has to go.
-
No - one of the most disappointing signings of our time. 99% of us were very excited and rightly so when we signed him, but apart from when we beat Villa 4-1 he's never really lived up to the promise - time to cut our losses.
-
This and this. Wouldn't worry about our attacking options if we had those 5, plus Gallagher and Seager ...
-
If the question were that heavily weighted towards a straight yes or no, then I'd have to change my opinion and vote no (no to park of the EU), despite actually just wanting a reform. A yes, will not necessarily give us a reform. I wouldn't want to vote no, but it would be the only way to get the message across in that situation. So I really hope this question, when it arrives, is very carefully thought out.
-
Exactly this, it's disgusting. Was sick in my mouth when I saw the bearded person from last year too.
-
Reform rather than leave. The original intent of the EU is still sound.
