  1. Ha, ha, you're obviously talking from experience! Funniest example when I was teaching in school there was the tax official who suggested that I did private lessons and how much she paid (in cash, in the black..) for a teacher for her kid. Using your European driving licence will be the best bet, I reckon. Hopefully we won't need bars as we'll get tickets, but the internet should help.
  2. Well, keep us informed. Quite a few special business motions there, but they must be used to being in the merde by now..
  3. Danbert, you wouldn't?! :-)
  4. Does Pilchards still hide in his tree?
  5. I think they're happy enough with 80000 as that's two and a half times our capacity...
  6. Milan will probably only get about 35K maximum for their game against us. The ground holds 80,000. Don't think what you point out is the evidence you need. Edit: maybe a few more if we all get tickets in the neutral areas..
  7. Actually I shall probably drive, but I always like to have the odd drink before a game. Also the 5 minutes later KO could possibly make a difference: as it is I jog back to the station to be certain of getting the train I want. I could leave early, of course, but I wouldn't want to face your opprobium. As others have pointed out, it's a school night this year although I wonder if a few promises are being made: "we'll go to the knockout games!" Anyway, don't worry yourself Griffo that not everybody is the same as you.
  8. Me too! If so going up to Manchester for that Friday night match might turn out to have been a very good idea!
  9. Or relying on Southern Railways to get you home, late on a midweek night..
  10. Wonder if they'll make the 300? [sorry, we've had that joke before.]
  11. Well, the 4-0 predictions are wrong!
  12. Yep, arrived this morning in the evil area of PO
  13. Well, after that bout of negativity let's hope it's a forerunner of his first goal in open play on Saturday... :-)
  14. I thought the moans last season were because we _never_ shot from outside the box and tried to walk it in..
  15. I still haven't read it, but I did say I trusted your judgement. LOL
  16. Thanks The9. I'm all booked up anyway, Turin on the Monday so I'll be having my 5 days whatever happens.
  17. Does anyone have any inkling if one away (both this season and last) will get me an Inter ticket? I've still got an old expired Italian id card although the date is on the back: might help blag it if necessary.
  18. You do know what "perceived reputation" means, don't you?
  19. Whitey, are you booking neutral to get a better seat or because you don't think you'll get one through the club?
  20. I've told you before Danbert, management summary please. You don't expect the board to actually sully themselves reading the merda there, do you? :-) Mind you, I think I trust your judgement on its quality...
  21. They're not intelligent enough to organise their own packages and don't realise how many are going independently.
  22. PS: if anybody needs some translation done let me know (and F.O. Turkish!).
  23. I'll have a look into it. I'm going via Turin and staying with a friend so if necessary could get it sent to her address. As I'm a ST holder with only 1 away both this and last season I'm assuming I'll be on the cusp of getting a ticket, but sounds like I'll need to bring binoculars for the away section.
  24. Incompetence?
  25. I couldn't possibly say, I'd upset Turkish, who is obviously a delicate flower.
