It would be nice if they gave out a few to local amateur teams...
-
Laughing _and_ shuddering! I like your reference to a Fratton Facelift, see a few around Havant way.
-
Won't we all want to go and give them the bird? Can't see the Northam being kind to Joe Hart..
-
Nah, 2pm. He wants to check the catering and the boardroom white burgundy.
-
Er, why? Crap? Too expensive? The only ones they reckon they could sell for er... money? I should really channel my Neil Allen and reformat the above into separate paragraphs, but can't be ar&ed.
-
Mind you, no currency problems at Hearts, Connah's Quay etc etc. Fancy wondering who's going to get through these early rounds. I hope The9 doesn't lose interest, we were relying on him for detailed and esoteric information about the tournament and the clubs! Is it a financial issue with having to replace your car then? Let's face it, Eurostar and flights should be a lot cheaper in the autumn when the schools go back..

Hmm, I've never been to Llandudno..
-
I agree, but didn't want to go too far over the top..
-
Yep, and playing an unfit Wilshere, not taking another wide player, dropping Lallana who at least in his previous game was moving off the ball and making things happen (even if he still can't shoot..), leaving Rooney on when his awful passing and general slowness produced groan after groan (and then laughter) in the pub I watched it in, with my Saints hat on why not give FF a match? And on and on...

'Worldwide fan base'? I didn't think we had The Transports any more?
-
Cheers Monk, I know you're in the trade.. If you've got any spare cones, poles, balls etc. when you move let me know. As an amateur ladies team over in E Hampshire we can always do with material. We'll still have to pay monthly subs and match fees to play mind, which makes tonight's defeat by overpaid stars so galling..

Woy Hodgeson could be the new Saints manager

Sweetie, I know I've been down the pub (for two games even), but even I don't get that blatted to post such rubbish. You should learn ho0w to hold your drink... -
I just presumed the England players, not being the brightest bunch, had seen the recent vote and thought it meant we should leave the European championship. They didn't realise the other half of the leave agenda was 'making Britain great again'...
-
At the end everybody in the pub I watched it in were laughing... I was lucky, my second team Italy with Pelle' played in an entertaining match with some quality and won - Forza italia! By the time I started watching England I'd had three pints, which I needed in the end, and added to. You just had to laugh it was so, so bad.

You mean you haven't ripped it off the wall and burnt it yet?
-
Indeed. Thanks Pamplemousse, although I'm on blood pressure tablets your information is a bit contra-indicated so I'll take it with a bit of salt (!), but our experience with Georges Prost was good, so maybe a shake of the youngsters too, which would fit in with our ethos and direction?

Yeah, and typically saints, we'll let them go without a fight. Sni gger -
I sometimes look at the posting times, but I can't work out whether with some of the last posts you lot are drunk or hungover.. ;-)
-
Eh? People would actually bet _on_ them? Or is it like on here on match days where someone say they think we'll be st**ffed so have a consolation bet in case we do, and are not sad at losing?

Nathan Redmond Joins on 5 Year Deal - Official
suewhistle replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
I normally look forward to your posts. ;-) Disappointed it's not ITK related... I remember the Derby fans' opinion as published in the press at the time; they were amazed somebody had paid (so much) money for him. -
I just choked on some gnocchi..
-
Why is everyone assuming we turned down Pellegrini? That may indeed be the case, particularly if he didn't impress at interview, not having the enthusiasm at his age perhaps? Or perhaps he turned us down when he heard the budget and what we want from him? I'll reserve judgement until we actually appoint someone.
-
Possibly because 'getting on with it' wouldn't be as difficult as it's now going to be.

Can the mods change the title? It'll save people a bit of time...
