Well, I was talking in jest, but _that_ thread seems to have been resurrected: CB Fry ploughing a lone furrow without his tag team partner alongside...

Rodriguez given the all-clear and set to return next month

I'll get my Ouija board out; I'm sure Alan Jones (RIP) would have words with you about that! -
he was only taking the mick or what I saw made me feel quite sick

I think Bearsy's suggestion is probably the best: "stamping on his testicles". Not really my style, though it's a tempting thought.. How about tieing him to the bedposts and tickling him with a big foam hand whilst giving him a presentation of the ground expansion plans. Talking of which, if we make Europe, will that make a difference to the plans? Discuss.

No, he was a persistent bully, and his behaviour was designed to shut other people up, to the extent that I had him on ignore. Making pointed comments or observations is one thing, but repetitively and needlessly it gets as tiresome as Dalek and 17th place... In short, he was a Belvoir Hunt.

Actually you don't need a reason to serve them an S.21 notice to quit, although it may well be a hassle if they don't observe it and you have to return to the court.

Thank you for a morning laugh: it's good to get the air into your lungs..
-
We'd better tell them: Gerrard sent off 50 seconds after coming on!

Hee hee hee

I rather like that.. I'm pinching it for elsewhere..

I was tempted! But I will just satisfy myself with telling you about the two goals I scored in our last match.. For someone who used the term 'mongboard' a lot, I always assumed he was trying to prove his board credentials, with his repetitive Dalek-like behaviour.

Erudite as ever, Bearsy! It's coming up to Easter so I suspect we may well get some sort of resurrection, although if any new poster starts following me around it may look a little suspicious... It would be beneath my dignity to delight in somebody's demise, and indulge in schadenfreude. So I'll say nothing further. sn igger

Nope, comfortable, well known but not wealthy. I was on a sailing holiday years ago and in a pub in Guernsey: got chatting to a local who told me that all the family were good at sport: natural eye/hand/foot co-ordination. MLT could have earned more, but he never strikes me as disatisfied with his financial lot!

Interesting, we'd better push for fourth place then...

Plus the multiplier effect: my 'O' level economics was a long time ago, so what was that formula for the velocity of money? PRT/100? Or is that something else? I've come over all Pompey..

Nah, ' a pretty (or fine) kettle of fish' is 18C - e.g. used by Henry Fielding. 'a different' is 20C...

Only £34,997,000 to go (give or take a few pence in the pound)..
-
I thought for a moment that you were talking about 3k missing from the crowd, and not the £££s. But "i dont think it will not get any better next season," is probably true either way!

Showing my age but I had a fun time at Anderlecht as dad got me a cheap staff ticket to fly there on BEA (before the days of low cost airlines). It would be nice (if I could afford it) to have a few away days in Europe, so I'd better get on with applying for a summer season job.. (Winter is also for skiing )

Adkins on SSN this morning talking Saints and UCL/PL title

Well, not sure the Sunderland job is a 'decent' one... -
He's just teasing us..

Go on then, you seem eminently qualified.

I wouldn't have bothered working for a local utility company and besides I was in a union, but in a high profile case like this when your employment has been threatened, I'd like to have back up. As his legal firm said.. “I want to make it very clear that our client will not be making any statement until the BBC investigation has taken its course.” In other words, if the BBC had tried to cover-up or sack him he reserves the right to pursue the case, but I suspect they aren't involved at the moment. As for complaining about trial by media: you live by the sword you die by the sword...

Cynics! All of you! .. I chuckled..

I tried Malpensa and Linate and still expensive; haven't tried Bergamo yet!
