  1. Corbyn May have links to the IRA but the Tories are actually making steps towards a United Ireland by putting a border down the Irish Sea.
  2. We will be halfway there with Boris’s deal. The Conservatives and Sinn Fein both love it.
  3. So inside the customs union then? That's the only way to stop the border issue.
  4. What would be a good deal then and how would it work with Northern Ireland?
  5. I’m sure there are many that share your view, I expect there are many more who have a different view after “what has transpired since” which is why it makes sense to have another vote. What was promised in 2016 and the reality we face are chalk and cheese.
  6. How did you know about the border down the Irish Sea, or the £39 million leaving bill, or the fact that Scotland and Northern Ireland would vote differently to England - risking a break up of the UK? You got a crystal ball?
  7. Still pretending you knew what you were voting for then?
  8. God knows. If I had to put money on it I would say a hung parliament. The Tories are obviously most likely winners but I can't see them getting a majority if their vote gets split with the Brexit Party. Plus I would be surprised if Boris appeals to too many in the middle ground which is usually critical.
  9. It’s the logical way forward given that no one Knew of the details of what they were voting for in 2016?
  10. So Boris' planned spending frenzy is OK but Corbyn's would be bribes?
  11. It’s hard to see anything good coming from this general election. We’re either going to be a hard brexit on the back of Corbyn’s unpopularity, a Corbyn government on the back of the Brexit deal’s unpopularity or a hung parliament meaning we’ve completely wasted a month and a half of the extension. The Tories will probably win but it all depends on how the public react to the Brexit deal or the threat of the likely no deal Brexit. The deal is going to be analysed in detail and ripped apart during the campaign, if the public don’t want the UK broken up or risk Northern Irish blowing each other up again they have to vote for someone other than the Conservatives.
  12. Brilliant contribution, well done. I think we all know how the system works though.
  13. General Election - what a great idea. So what are we going to get: 1. A Corbyn government voted in because of a sh!te Brexit deal. 2. A ****e Brexit deal crowbarred through because of an unelectable opposition.
  14. Give one day's wages to their own charity, **** me they are a generous bunch. A token gesture, just like their 'efforts' on Friday.
  15. It is a depressing thought, we either face a Corbyn government or Johnson government with a hard Brexit - either way you can see the economy nose-diving. All thanks to our ridiculous FPTP system.
  16. Agree with this, their lack of effort and desire is unforgivable. It wasn’t even one of those games where they got lucky and every shot flew in the net, Leicester should have scored more. The reason these scores are rare is that the team winning by 4 or 5 naturally ease off and the for the losing team pride kicks in they get more and more determined not to concede. The tossers our on the pitch Friday showed no pride in the shirt whatsoever, the fact that there were no yellow cards shows how little fight there was.
  17. Anything that rules out a late Arsenal winner is OK with me.
  18. Can’t we just come to an arrangement with City in advance, Agee to two 0-3s, they can rest all their players, we save some face - everyone’s a winner.
  19. We’ve been fed the same bullish!t from the club before, this summer was supposed to be a big rebuild but that turned out to be lies.
  20. It’s much much easier to flush out the sh!t if we have the Prem money going through the club. Getting relegated doesn’t make the wages go away, anyone half decent will go for a song and the really crap players will still be here. Our only hope is to somehow stay up for the next few seasons and hope the recruitment improves while the wasters see out their contract. The way the club is being runs means that relegation is just a matter of time though.
  21. At home against ****ing Leicester as well, not even a really top side. If it was at Anfield or The Etihad it would still be embarrassing but on our own patch against Leicester is just unforgivable. Officially the worst top flight performance by any team ever.
  22. Didn’t May have a bigger lead last time when she called the election? https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/04/26/theresa-may-popular-voters-leader-since-late-1970s/
  23. This, we shouldn’t restrict ourselves in the transfer market.
