  1. Which Pardew couldn’t get promoted.
  2. It’s going to be tough to get enough points from that lot, we are going to have to get at least two more wins on the road. One positive is that three of the last four games are against teams that will probably be safe in the mid-table comfort zone which is the sort of fixtures you want. That’s clutching at straws a bit though because that is a ***** of a run in.
  3. Love it, he ****s up against Swansea, now costs them 2 points today.
  4. I like to see the players with a bit of fight and it’s good to have players wanting to take free kicks.
  5. That doesn’t seem to work for us when our managers choose to go elsewhere.
  6. Surely if he wanted to go to Everton he could have just resigned?
  7. Great result. Now stop dicking about with the side and keep it the same for the next game.
  8. Come on Saints, kill a game off for once
  9. That's why we have got only 8 points away from home all season?
  10. Wasn't Portsmouth a limited company?
  11. With only one of them being at home I don't rate our chances.
  12. To be fair, most people care more about their careers than a bunch of blokes running around a field kicking a ball.
  13. I expect it's more a case of Kat having sold Saints to Gao as an established Premier League club run by a couple of sporting geniuses. Les and Ralph's first act under their new boss was to convince him to spend his money sacking a perfectly good manager. Since them they have been busy trying to explain to Gao how he doesn't need to worry about the league table, it's merely a temporary issue caused by having one of the World's best defenders in the squad.
  14. Does anyone know what has happened to Redmond? He's gone from teachers pet to not even in the squad, I guess he's injured or something?
  15. Not to mention his history of corruption and bribery.
  16. Nonsense. All the other clubs down there have changed manager. From a finance point of view a managers pay off is minimal - it is certainly not cost effective to keep a bad manager given the consequences of relegation, or even the loss in prize money for league position. Something is not right at the club. I wouldn’t be surprised if Reed and Kruger hate the new owners and just want to be paid off.
  17. At the very latest you need to get a new manager in at least a few weeks before the transfer window opens, give him time to assess the squad and allow a bit of time to see if there is a reaction from the players before you spend. We've left it too long to attract anyone decent and give whoever we hire a decent chance of keeping us up. Plus we've just blown £19m on a mate of Pelligrinos. It's a complete clusterf@ck.
  18. Kat has sold us down the river, we still know little about Gao and his plans -he could easily do a 'Pompey' with us and leave us a shell of a club. He's borrowed £200mil for a club that will probably be worth £50mill max if we go down. Championship clubs don't make money, I'm not sure how he's going to get his money back on his investment - either a quick return to the premier or transfer the loan to the club and asset strip to pay it off?
  19. You get the feeling that without Marcus' millions and Cortese's decision making Reed is ****ing clueless.
  20. We get a £75mill windfall yet virtually all the other relegation candidates sign more players than us. Something is seriously ****ed up at our club
  21. If we are not going to bother to strengthen the squad then surely there has to be a change of manager?
  22. It defys all logic how this clown still has a job.
  23. Now surely we can go on and win this now
  24. Get the **** in
