Walcott would be a superb signing. I would flog VVD to anyone, even Liverpool, and invest in some decent attacking players.

Mildly concerning, the fact that we still have to play Man City, Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool - twice. IMO our position is probably no better than anyone except Palace at the moment.

The players are just not good enough. We are strong in areas but woefully short of options for the the attacking midfielders and don’t have a single striker suited to playing the lone role up front the way Pelle or Lambert did.

We’re only mid table because we’ve had the easiest run of fixtures in living memory, our true position is way lower.

Can’t see us getting a result without Lemina, he’s the last player you want injured.

I don’t think we will go down but at the moment we are in a false position because of our freakishly easy set of fixtures so I don’t think there is a lot between any of the sides outside the usual big clubs. I remember the exact same complacency last time we went down. I’m more positive after the last couple of games. Whilst they have not been great performances at least we are changing things around and should only better. If we are in a sticky position come January we could always cash in on Virgil, ditch the manager and give the new guy a big pile of cash to sort it out.

I agree. But in the unlikely event it is considered worse you have to be prepared to walk away. Saying you will definitely not leaves you open to get screwed. It's like walking into a car showroom and telling the salesman you have no option but to buy one of his cars - see what sort of deal you get then.

Jesus, it's not rocket science. If they say 'no deal' is not an option they have to accept what is offered. If the people offering the deal know that they are only ever going to offer a bad deal. I think the Tories are making a right mess of Brexit which is why I supported a second referendum. But if you are negotiating you have to be prepared to walk away without a deal other wise you will get butt ****ed. It's quite a simple concept.

It's quite simple really, I'm surprised you fail to understand. The EU will offer us a deal, if it doesn't get approved by parliament we leave the EU with no deal on 29th March 2019. If Labour say they wont leave without a deal then they obviously have to accept any deal. It is totally up to the other 27 EU countries as to wether we get an extension (which we wont IMO) - nothing Labour or anyone in our parliament can do about it.
