I would say that the development squad will be the first place to look and if there isn't any immediate first team replacements then it'll be a loan. If there is no one in the development squad to fill the squad/first team place then I can see someone being bought or perhaps a free. Otherwise money will be saved on those players who can truly make a difference (like Lambert and Fonte last season).

But they are independent events in that respect. This game is important for them, if they win it allows them to be ahead of Huddersfield in second with only us that can take that away if we get enough points from our two games in hand. So it could be a cagey affair with the focus on not making a mistake rather than looking for goals.
