Well, the wendies (ok 2 out of 4) are going for a win (the other two going for a draw). Also looks like they are having keeper problems with Weaver out with a groin strain, so a new centre back pairing and a new keeper for them on Saturday.

The weather isn't great so hope it doesn't get called off late.

Yes, but that's a home game (for us).

haha, ta. It was the Les Reed connection that threw me and I'm exhausted from being up dealing with a sick daughter... I'd better check my other posts now!

Some important matches being played by our promotion rivals. Brentford v Huddersfield Carlisle v Plymouth Hartlepool v Leyton Orient Rochdale v Notts County Sheff Wed v Peterborough All kick-offs at 7:45pm It would be helpful to see some home wins or draws tomorrow.

Charlton need to shake a few things up and I'd expect a clear out this summer. They're done that already on the managerial front with Parkinson replaced by Powell and now that Charlton are more or less out of the promotion race that could be a good call for both teams.

Besides living on the edge of the Asian Plate, there have been some corruption scandals in their nuclear industry which have both played their part in the current situation.

9th April is the important date: Huddersfield v Peterborough, Leyton Orient v Southampton,

Wasn't there a blog about someone taking on one of these spammers. Something to do with an artifact?

I agree, however,it will be interesting to see how many of the 'home' support are actually Saints fans since they have been on sale to the home fans for so long. I also believe the Saints allocation was sold out first which shows you that even though not a derby in the sense of Saints vs Skates, the locality and promotion push would draw more fans to it and you would have thought it would be better to up the Saints allocation than risk the mixing of fans.

Scores against Chelsea tonight.

Comments about the game versus Sheffield Utd already say they are at that point. With games against in-form Bristol City tomorrow, promotion chasing Leicester, Reading, Burney, Cardiff, Swansea and Norwich it would be an amazing achievement to get to the play-offs.

Oh for a good old fashioned inquisition... er winger! Various posters keep saying that Saints should have signed better players, but who are these better players and how do they know they would perform here? For every Fonte, there will be a Puncheon. It would be different if a Bellamy situation arose but that isn't going to happen, we're in sh!tty division 3.

well that was one way traffic! the away visit is here:

Hopefully, they don't gift the skates a second win of their season.

League Table since Adkins - indications for 2nd half of season?
Doctoroncall replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
Just to throw in some more stats, we continue to put in more shots in on goal than anyone else but obviously placement or good defending is a bit of an issue as they are not being converted to goals often enough which would alleviate opposition pressure some of the time (the Swindon game being one). Top scorers Peterborough are second and interestingly Brighton are midtable. To convert shots to goals, Saints need 4.1 shots on target per goal while Brighton need 2.8 and Peterborough 2.2 respectively. Bournemouth and Huddersfield are around 3.3 mark.
