  1. The matt slater blog on the BBC. Question was asked as I would have thought the same as you (especially given AA has said the first of July), all depending on an appeal before the first.
  2. embargo likely to be lifted on the 1st July (14days) when club comes out of admin.
  3. They have been around in South African football since the late 1990's.
  4. Keep them at the World Cup. The Hear the World Foundation has declared the vuvuzela as the loudest of all fan instruments and that it can cause personal hearing loss. Tests conducted in a sound-proof studio found the vuvuzela emitted 127 decibels, more than the air horn - 123.5 - and Brazil's samba drums. A referee's whistle was fourth while the cowbell trailed at 114.9. "To put it in perspective, when a sound is increased by 10 decibels our ears perceive it as being twice as loud, so we would consider the vuvuzela to be more than double the volume of the cowbell."
  5. BSkyB suggested as much last year. Didn't the Times also threaten to become subscription for some of their internet site?
  6. I was told by my brother (works at the course) that for the big fields on the straight course you may as well pick the nearest prominent racer to the far rail and you would be in with a chance.
  7. Portsmouth FC may need three weeks for new CVA proposal
  8. Are you sure, there were a few Leeds players who voted in the club's CVA. One actually voted against.
  9. I'm sure Chile will still play a part in this!
  10. When it comes to world cups, Spain are the nearly men. Come on Switzerland, nearly there!
  11. It'll be a blueprint for those clubs willing to spend to enjoy the highlife normally beyond reach and if it then gets too much a season of struggle to clear their debts sounds great as you're stated. Hopefully there will be a few surprises yet, so I'll wait for the fat lady as the stage hasn't disappear.
  12. Last place... ****ing **** **** ********! I'm no longer playing on this fred and keeping bets to myself.
  13. expected better from this game but it's been dire.
  14. You're safe, these two will lose: Glenridding and Leonid Glow !
  15. Sorry chris, I've backed those... everytime I put my bets on here I have a **** day!
  16. As long as it doesn't taste like 125 year old beer... on second thoughts that might be an improvement!
  17. Correct, while maximising the return to the creditors the administrator needs to leave a viable business so at least the CVA can be completed. The Griffins report has clearly shown he hasn't done that.
  18. The use of print font can have a profound influence on things and how information is processed. (Song, H. and Schwarz, N., If it's easy to read, it's easy to do, pretty, good, and true. the psychologist vol. 23 no 2.). Arial font is an easy to read one to use. HTH
  19. Haven't they lost their top scorer, Paynter, to Leeds on a free. All he is saying is they are hoping for weaker opposition to boost their chances to be up there again and keep the best of the squad. For us, didn't we do better against the decent sides of the division (Leeds, Norwich, etc) and struggled against the lower/combatives sides (tranmere, stockport etc)?
  20. Mexico are 3-1 to top the group.
  21. It's two hours by my reckoning, but still in his favour!

  23. The international transfer window for signings will open on Wednesday, 9 June and will stay open until 1800 BST on Tuesday, 31 August. Domestic transfers between clubs in the same association (eg England or Scotland) can take place as soon as a club completes its last competitive fixtures. However, many transfers or signings, although agreed at this time, will not formally go through until 1 July because the majority of players' contracts expire on 30 June. HTH
  24. N - Norwich for knocking us out of the FA cup in the sixth round in 92. Matt got send off and after leading one nil lost 2-1 AET.
  25. ...and if the skates aren't squashed and mauled, it makes for a reasonable avenue to downsize and obtain a bonus to be competitive for clubs to follow that fall out of the PL.
