Needed a striker in January, especially when Osvaldo left, didn't get one & now reaping what we sowed. Disappointing end to the season.

Gutted, terrible news for the lad and the club as a whole. Get well soon Jay Rod. Does this give an opening for another youngster though? Josh Sims, Jake Sinclair or Omar Rowe maybe? Rowe's looked decent in the clips I've seen of him.

Didn't the club do one about changing to blue shirts to match those down the road, one year? Not Saints related, I know, but one I fell for was in the 80s before the inter web doohickey and that's when Shoot had a front page cover with Ian Rush in an Everton shirt. Because there was no real way for kids to check this out, many fell for it...

Came off fairly early today and I wondered if there was anything in it. Certainly the change didn't harm us with Rickie coming on and scoring straight away and giving the attack more of a central focal point. So is Adam simply tired after a run of games, including the Denmark international or does he have a niggle (either picked up today or already present beforehand)? Saw him leave after the game and didn't seem that happy and drove off without stopping to sign autographs for those waiting.

Who goes as the 4th striker in the England squad for the World Cup for you? As brilliantly as Jay Rod has done this season, i think Rickie still has something different to the rest and should go. If Jay is to go, it would be instead of Welbeck, for me, but I can't see Roy doing that.

Why not? Someone went and painted red and white stripes (albeit horizontal ones) all over their flag? Blue shorts with white stars for next seasons kit chaps?
