Surely the overriding objective from our perspective as fans is to improve and kick on. This season, we haven't and have actually gone backwards. We have failed to replace key players, put blind faith in an untested strikeforce with propensity to or recovering from injury, and above all, are playing some of the most turgid, depressing, negative football I've seen from a Saints team in 30+ years. However positive we want to be, this hasn't been a progressive season

There are no league tables for bringing through home-grown talent. This is professional sport. It's about winning. End of.
