Anyway -- Gallagher. Did anyone see him play? How did he do? I notice he was subbed immediately after half time .... Not injured again ,I hope, but just too soon for a whole game?

I only come on here to slag off Turkis, but I don't dare in case he bullies me. I didn't bother last time.

Cup tickets - were any posted out to ST holders?
Ken Tone replied to Jackie@home's topic in The Saints
Really weird that ST holders aren't all being treated the same. We bought cup tickets for Ipswich over the phone and our ST cards were activated. In fact the woman who dealt with us made me feel daft when I asked if they'd be posted and she had to explain about the smart ST card. Bought Palace tickets also over phone and again the ST card has been 'charged'. Both times we bought tickets for our usual seats. -
And Joey Barton as peacemaker?

Tram (metro link) from Old Trafford/Warwick Road ,but it will be absolutely packed with home fans, so may not be a good idea when we win!
-
The Trafford Centre is massive, and obviously good for the shoppers, but there is often also a massive traffic jam round it. Might be worth you looking at the Lowry Centre as an alternative , very near the ground ..... a much smaller shopping centre but with optional museums and art gallery nearby.

Its going to be especially embarrassing if it turns out she is slightly boss-eyed!

I'd agree if Clyne is fit. However, IF Clyne isn't fit as the rumours say, we may need to play Toby at right back (where he plays for Belgium?) and maybe revert to the 4-3-3 formation.

this. 'entertaining'!
-
I've heard the odd groan when he' s mi**** a pass or a shot, but I've never heard anyone boo him.
-
Even the commentator is saying 'would have put him on at half time. Mane has been poor today.'
-
Found a pub showing the game, but I am literally the only customer watching. Can't hear a thing. I presume Cork's gone off with an injury? Hope the formation works better than at the weekend!
-
Thanks. As you say, their schedule is out of date, but may be worth a try. Bloody freezing up here btw!

Am in The Lake District this week. I can find lots of pubs that show sky sports, but not so sure about BT. Does anyone know a pub in Bowness, or second choice Windermere, that will have the Arsenal game? thanks

" Ings funding project out of his own pocket" Premier League footballer in 'not a knob' shock! Good for him.

Saints 2 Leicester 0 - Post Match Reactions

+1 (though 'separate' of course!) -
it doesn't upset me and you're entitled to your opinion. It's just that you happen to be completely wrong!

Saints 8 (Eight) Sunderland 0 - Match and Reactions

Pity they didn't show it on the big screen a few times at half time ;-) -
GUARDIAN: Sadio Mané leading the golden generation of Senegal
Ken Tone replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I thought it was talked about at the time, though Mané played it down a bit as a misunderstanding ..... But then so did Lallana! -
You just did! But you're right that he's not a bad lad. He hasn't been accused of sexual assault or drink driving etc like so many other 'top' footballers , but what he has shown himself to be is just another money- grabber. Fair enough ...it's his life and his career, but he can't seriously expect to have it both ways and pretend also to be loyal or grateful ,or to love Saints. Or to get a good reception when he returns.

But it wasn't "the fullness of time". It was relatively soon after AND what is more according to his quotes when he got to Liverpool, he was dreaming of leaving us to play for them when we played at Anfield, *only a few months* after his earlier 'stay for life' quote. He was always my favourite player . I rated him even in the seasons when other thought he was rubbish. He's still a really good player, but he's also now shown himself to be a two-faced ****.
-
I've never understood the negative attitude some on here have to Beattie. As a player he was good for us. As a person, I had no direct dealings with him, but the one person I know who did know him and his then girlfriend via their own teenaged daughter always spoke highly of him as "a nice young man".

Pellé and the rest haven't been poor. We're simply playing a team who are playing better than us this week.

So presumably Pochettino's badge is his 'Top Gear Fan Club Member' badge?
