Actually the mod in question (me) deleted it, applied a sanction and then referred it to the other mods and site owners to see if that was an approriate level. I can assure you nobody is under protection as far as I am aware.

To an extent we are dammed if we do, damned if we don't. If we delete everything that could potentially offend someone on the forum there would be nothing left, if we leave some things on that we consider borderline are accused of being too leaniant. My reasoning for dropping De Ridder to the bench were that with Guly at RM and Connolly CF we had our best results. That said, Guly was playing better then.

Looking for a cracking start to 2012. Brighton will be without a number of players through suspension. Schneiderlin misses out due to collecting 5 yellows. Personally I would like to see us play: Davis Richardson Fox Fonte (If Fit) / Martin Hooiveld Guly Hammond Cork Lallana Lambert Connolly Subs - Bart, De Ridder, Harding, Butterfield / Martin, Holmes
