Keeping Track of the Contracts 2024-25
Saint Garrett replied to Over land and sea's topic in The Saints
Matter of opinion...I saw absolutely nothing in Stephens and think he's done ok, I'm not bought completely by him, but he had a great season this year really, he'll never be at the level of Fonte/Alderweireld though...let alone VVD. -

I haven't seen any great qualities in him, but I don't run training. I saw very little good qualities of Stephen 2 years ago, but he's come a long way. I don't think there is a lot between Danso and Stephens when he first came into the prem side....I'm not saying he's shown anything of a "prem" standard so far, but who knows what point he'll be at in 2 years time. A few million for a potential prem player would seem a bargain no? -
Well he's not dead I don't think...https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8256625/Saints-hero-Papa-Waigos-agent-admits-tricked-accepting-2009-St-Marys-loan.html A good little article...

ITK? Who knows with Danso - this season suggests there is no chance, but if he was available for £3/4M, would you take a risk on him? I probably would? He's only young. -
I was also at that Sheff Utd game, and he was absolutely appalling, looked completely lost in that game. He seemed to have 2/3 good games for us, go to the ACON, and then just got better and better. Immense player in that final season with us.
-
Supposedly Spurs "top target" this summer. one of those clickbait sites though.
-
Underated by many Saints fans, he was absolutely class for us. Understandably got frustrated in his final season with us, but he was superb in that season with Mane and Pelle up top.
-
Sure he got one, maybe Fulham in that 4-2? SRL?

Football not really important at the moment. If they can play the rest of this season they should if they can't then it should be void. It's not going to be fair on everyone whatever happens, but I don't think you can finish a season halfway through when no-one knows what might have happened in the last few weeks of the season...It can only be void. Will certainly be interesting to see what happens, but something will have to give next season...possibly the cups don't get played next year to incorporate the busier league schedule.

Teams seem to have learnt that if they bully us and play us on the counter, and be direct, we can't handle it. Players like Traore, Antonio, Saint-Maximin absolutely boss us. We can't defend against pace and power, and we aren't creating enough against the lesser sides.

Certainly missing him away form home, I've got to say, would be feeling much more confident about this weekend if he was available.

Would go.... --------------McCarthy ----KWP Bednarek Stephens Bertrand ------------JWP Hojbjerg ----Armstrong--------Djenepo -----------Long--Ings

Let’s be fair, he’s still only 24, playing in a very open team. I think he’s been superb the last few seasons, but if he won’t sign the contract he it makes sense to sell him this summer for £30m or so. Would easily get into both Spurs or Everton’s teams IMO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I can only see block one on the ticket website, but it says we have both 1 & 2. I have already got tickets in block 2, so something odd happening on the website.

Agreed - not sure how grown adults can happily stand there and chant about ****ing your sister and your mum. Idiots. And as for the ca 40 year old bloke, smoking weed next to a child (so much so that his dad took him out of his seat to go elsewhere...get a grip.

It would be a ridiculous decision from Moyes to not play Haller and Antonio upfront together tomorrow. I'm thinking they might go all out attack, and match us up with a front 4, Anderson and Snodgrass as inside forwards.
-
Hopefully Djenepo will want to play. Lets see...RIP Mrs Djenepo.

They've seemed to dislike us since the championship days...odd bunch.
