  1. Paul Jones from memory
  2. Football not really important at the moment. If they can play the rest of this season they should if they can't then it should be void. It's not going to be fair on everyone whatever happens, but I don't think you can finish a season halfway through when no-one knows what might have happened in the last few weeks of the season...It can only be void. Will certainly be interesting to see what happens, but something will have to give next season...possibly the cups don't get played next year to incorporate the busier league schedule.
  3. Teams seem to have learnt that if they bully us and play us on the counter, and be direct, we can't handle it. Players like Traore, Antonio, Saint-Maximin absolutely boss us. We can't defend against pace and power, and we aren't creating enough against the lesser sides.
  4. Certainly missing him away form home, I've got to say, would be feeling much more confident about this weekend if he was available.
  5. Would go.... --------------McCarthy ----KWP Bednarek Stephens Bertrand ------------JWP Hojbjerg ----Armstrong--------Djenepo -----------Long--Ings
  6. Certainly won’t help the walk up crowds Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  7. Let’s be fair, he’s still only 24, playing in a very open team. I think he’s been superb the last few seasons, but if he won’t sign the contract he it makes sense to sell him this summer for £30m or so. Would easily get into both Spurs or Everton’s teams IMO. 8. I can only see block one on the ticket website, but it says we have both 1 & 2. I have already got tickets in block 2, so something odd happening on the website.
  9. Agreed - not sure how grown adults can happily stand there and chant about ****ing your sister and your mum. Idiots. And as for the ca 40 year old bloke, smoking weed next to a child (so much so that his dad took him out of his seat to go elsewhere...get a grip.
  10. It would be a ridiculous decision from Moyes to not play Haller and Antonio upfront together tomorrow. I'm thinking they might go all out attack, and match us up with a front 4, Anderson and Snodgrass as inside forwards.
  11. Hopefully Djenepo will want to play. Lets see...RIP Mrs Djenepo.
  12. They've seemed to dislike us since the championship days...odd bunch.
  13. Will be a really tough game, but expecting a good atmosphere from our lot. 3pm Saturday London away game, everyone will be smashed, hopefully our away form will be enough. Worry about their physicality as they always seem to bully us, and can't see their tactic for this one being any different. They are desparate, and will be massively edgey in that ground if we go 1-0 up. Think they have more protests against the owners planned. 1-2
  14. Yup think this is pretty much it, with Djenepo, Boufal, Obafemi and Adams the attacking options off the bench.
  15. No real surprise it's not caught on given the majority of our fan base, and the lyrics to this song.
  16. Ah - I see, that's good news then...! Especially given how much of a pain travel is.
  17. Still a huge amount of tickets available for this, we've taken 4 blocks, and only sold 1 and half so far...hopefully the club don't use this game as an example to not take large allocations in the future.
  18. Wonder if they fancy a few more, Forster, Elyounoussi, Hoedt, Vestergaard, Carrillo and Lemina could all be available in a few months!
  19. An average keeper who seems to be highly driven by confidence, playing for the best team by a distance in a pub league. I'd rip your hand off for £5-10M and his wages off the books. I'd say he's probably no better than either McCarthy or Gunn even on his day...
  20. Yeah - we made a terrible decision to walk to seven sisters.
  21. Yup - agree. Also why do they make the away fans walk so far round the houses from the home end to the next corner? And bloody hell, Seven Sisters is a trek from the ground, found that out the hard way after the game...!
  22. Yup - he always seems to score against us.
  23. Might not mean with Saints though...
  24. Remember saying something similar when we went to Liverpool...and won 1-0...
  25. They've probably cut staff, which is why they've had to take smaller allocations so they can deal with them. Probably got a load of temps in to do this...cost cutting.
