  1. Yeah he’s rubbish, or has been rubbish for us so far this season. Really disappointing signing. He’s the most wasteful striker I’ve seen play for us. Decision making is poor, and gives the ball away. Not ideal when you’re relying on Broja who might be injured….
  2. Impact injury, so hopefully just needs resting and maybe he only misses the midweek game. Armstrong is dreadful, so fingers crossed he can play this week.
  3. Hat-trick for Dom today for the u18's. Won 5-0 at Villa....nice.
  4. I think it's great for the charity, and will bring them a bunch of money in. If you don't want to buy it, don't.
  5. I just cannot believe that is true at all. No way would we have sold him in January IMO.
  6. Can't say any more than this really. Hopefully you can overcome whatever it is that you're fighting.
  7. Great stuff that it's a sell out. They're no mugs. Expecting a completely different atmosphere to usual in the Kingsland North. Feels like we haven't played for months. Wouldn't change much. Forster; KWP Stephens Salisu Perraud; Diallo JWP; Tella Adams Armstrong Armstrong
  8. Got no issue with Elyounoussi staying as a squad player, but pretty much agree with everyone else. It seems pretty obvious that we probably need atleast 3 starting XI players, which is likely to be £50-60m. Will be really interesting to see how the new owners go about things. WIth the logic in mind that we're likely to go after young players with big sell on value in a few years time, ala Tino, wouldnt surprise me if we start next season without the 3 first XI starters but by the end of the season, they will be.
  9. Not quite sure of the situation at Bournemouth, but from the outside in, have they gambled on promotion? Certainly no excuses for not going up with the signings they've made
  10. I really hope they go down, but think they should have enough to stay up now. Some decent business IMO. They were never going to sign Mbappe and Neymar in this window, and they needed players who can come in and hit the ground running. I'm surprised they didn't go in for Caleta-Car who sounded like he was available for decent money. A lot will still depend on Wilson & Saint Maximin, but we all know Howe can't organise a defence to save his life.
  11. He signed it last summer when the club decided to renew his and let Fraser go.
  12. This is the only reason I think we might still be trying something. Anything now is a bonus though. But this was what it was like with Theo and Ings, just completely out the blue late on.
  13. That’s “Frank Lampard’s Everton”
  14. Alex crook. (Lol) he’s now just said on Talksport he was wrong and he’s actually going for free. Everton pay £10m if he plays a number of appearances. He’s probably wrong again, but we shall see.
  15. £45m. Wtf
  16. Hmm....Palace now in for him it seems.... Don't think he can go to either Everton or Newcastle, unless they buy him as they've already used their 2 loans.
  17. Because there is no Saints news...
  18. Buy some pretty solid premier league options, whilst weakening rivals and who can hit the ground running straight away. Bring in a few top young talents from abroad, for the longer term.
  19. I'm quite looking forward to playing against them with Targett and Burn playing.
  20. He played left back that day too! I liek him, he's got ability for sure, but it's frustrating that he can never get a proper run in the side. One of the few players who can beat people, but seems to have gone backwards this season.
  21. Yup - he's not going to go to the other big 5 clubs. Palace would probably be a good fit for him.
  22. They were never going to go and buy the worlds best players in this window. I expect a huge amount of movement in the summer, once they're starting on 0 points along with everyone else. Bruno Guimaraes, Ekitike, Trippier, possibly Lingard & Henderson, are all players that can be competing at the top half of the league. If they just stay up this year, a bunch of these players will be out the door within 2 years, but it won't have mattered as they've done a job.
  23. I don't think thats the point. They clearly have way better players than they did a month ago.
  24. Might as well just call this the Newcastle thread… Ekitike, Burn, Lingard, Targett, Henderson, Carrasco, Diop…anyone I’ve missed? Im expecting us to bring in one late player on loan. As we have done over the last few seasons. Might be why Moussa has been linked away…
