  1. We don't look too interested in going for the jugular, which is worrying. We have an opportunity to get a 3-4 goal lead but we're playing rather conservatively.
  2. What the feck fonte
  3. A poem recital and a dodgy, poorly played version of the last post? People pay their respects on remembrance day and the weekend of it. But in football it begins a fortnight before. It smacks of wanting to be the most respectful and comes across as entirely insincere.
  4. Call me disrespectful if you want. This is too much for a football game. Wouldn't expect it if you went to the cinema or some ****.
  5. I highly, highly doubt we've changed our style of play now.
  6. Huge fan of Yoshida, but he's not a RB and has always looked shaky there. Could cost us.
  7. Then why the weird kick off time!? Ffs.
  8. Actually you quite regularly see teams in the top half (outside the top 6) with goal differences close to or even below 0.

Outstanding performance, just needs to do it more consistently and step up to be the creative CM we've been searching for since our return to the Prem.
  10. Not always. League One we always used to belt out OWTS after conceding a goal until we got one for ourselves.
  11. Tadic is quite often trying to pump the crowd up so wouldn't be surprised if he gets annoyed at the lack of a response. I've always said, if the club actively made an effort to turn the chapel into the home end, i'd move down there no doubt. All it'd take is a letter or email to every northam/itchen north season ticket holder to carry out a survey and see if enough people would do the same.
  12. That's not Martina, that's the team. We seem so afraid of passing it forwards or attempting switch balls sometimes, even when players are in acres of space on the opposite side. This refusal to play the ball then leads to the forward players giving up on making runs.
  13. Not entirely sure what people expect to be honest. How many premier league quality attackers do you think we can afford to have without playing them? The mistake isn't the amount of players we have, i'd say we've got that bang on (certainly better than the last two seasons). The problem we've got is we gambled on Jrod and, i'm sorry, but he's never going to be an asset to us again. He'll come back and maybe grab a goal once in a while but we cannot rely on him as a member of the squad. We need to replace him, but will have to wait till the summer as no-one will want to sell decent forwards in january.
  14. I've been (quietly) complaining about Forster for about a year and a half now. "Makes some great saves" isn't good enough for where we are right now.
  15. Really not convinced Forster is good enough. Doesn't even come for balls on the edge of his 6 yard box...we need someone more agile, mobile and able to pass better. I would sell to Liverpool before his stock begins to fall and get Pickford or Heaton in.
  16. Van Dijk and Romeu the only two who looked like matching Chelsea today. No shame in losing this - Chelsea were exceptional, discounting the cheating.
  17. Alonso for them is an absolute thug as well. Works well for them but he shouldn't be allowed to get away with half the stuff he pulls off.
  18. So where was the time added on for Chelseas timewasting? Also, no relay at halftime, BOOOOOOOO
  19. With our depth and rotation policy, this could be the season we see consistency throughout.
  20. Ah well **** the ****.
  21. What the **** was that hahahahahahahaha! Look at his stupid dopey face with his tongue hanging out.
  22. Toby and Vertonghen are the best, but other than that I'd say so.
  23. "Sofiaaane, sofiane boufal" repeated to One Step Beyond tune fits, sounds decent, is simple enough to get going and is original-ish.
  24. Nice and easy, just chant his name to the madness tune.
  25. Yoshida motm. Isgrove doesn't look like he's going to make it. Stephens looked poor but remember he's been played at centreback for 3 years now.
