I felt the goals at Newcastle owed a lot to fortune and didn't see much else from him. Maybe you are right, it can take some players longer to settle in that others. Plus his wife is hot so get him on the bus.

I am wary of our goal scoring chances. Back in 1998 I lost on a spread bet for Norway to score >4 goals at the WC. They'd been scoring for fun in the qualifiers and their group looked promising. Result, zero goals. Let's wait and see.

I'd love to know £ for £ how much difference an extra 30K seats really makes when, I suspect, gate revenue is just a small part of the picture compared to the TV funding. Yes, you probably make more if you've got commercial properties and facilities that make it a seven day a week venue, but seats alone are probably not that important. Personally I'd stick to our 30K and in 5 years time we'll be live streaming matches to VR headsets. Next thing you'll know you'll be sitting next to Remi from France, Maketi from Nigeria and Lee from Korea. For example: http://www.theverge.com/2015/3/16/8224643/birth-live-streamed-samsung-gear-vr In fact, with our farsighted media team we should be doing this now. Remember we were the first club IN THE WORLD with a twitter #tag on our stadium seats FFS!

Here's my theory; FMH (From My Head), not ITK. - Athleti know they have a player worth than the purchase price. - The Tottenham Monk equivalent says they are not in for Toby (and they're not exactly short in CM so you can see why). - Daniel Levy is playing the stooge for Athleti so they can bid up their price (probably as part of Spur's interest in the Athleti DM Suarez). It would be interesting to see if Spurs / AM have previous dealing history. - It's a win for Athleti (they get more cash), it's a win for Spurs (they deprive a rival of X million).... sadly a loss for us (but probably better reflects TA's market value). A confident poker player would say 'sod it' and call the bluff and stiff both of them..... The question is: Are you feeling lucky, Monk?

Funny. I read this with the author off of the top of the screen.... "that's a bit of a ***tty comment I thought, bet it's MLG...." Et voila.

Yes, but it has a completely different, seedier, purpose to Saint's room of a similar name.

Nathaniel Clyne Joins Liverpool - Official

Forget percentages, Yoshida had a very solid season - it is unfortunate that when he played Ms and Big Vic were also out, not to mention Ff. Granted not first choice but good nonetheless. -
I think Morgan has given us great service. Many of us would have acted the same way last year if we'd seen all out teammates buggering of for pastures new. He's a quality player and good luck to him. Good business by Lowe (via Georges Prost) despite what many of the nay sayers said at the time.

Don't bring me good generals, bring me lucky ones". So said Napoleon but true of this season when Poch and Brenda had some very lucky results early on. My memory of this season is whilst in some defeats we were unlucky (Swansea and Liverpool spring to mind, rarely were we lucky in victory (Swansea away the only one I recall. Is that my memory being rose tinted, or did we luck out elsewhere? Luckiest: Swansea, Bony getting red carded. Unluckiest: Liverpool H. Kevin Friend is a ******.

Our On-the-Beach mentality is a f**king disgrace

It's like the players saw this quote and thought.... "Ok lads, gotta score 6 to get our Goals For up to last years level and really stick it to Alpine and Lard." More of the same please... -
Rounded ribbed collar. fnar!

Don't bring be me good generals, bring me lucky ones. Both Rogers and Poch have had some really lucky wins earlier in the season that sustained them... And now they've hit form. Here's hoping we can turn it round.

Ouch. Makes your eyes water.....

Same (but make it monkey chicken petting zoo or I'm out).

I don't think it's an English thing, he is operating at a level where you need to talk vision, product and direction - doubled up because of the international angle. That is the language of boards up and down the country, especially the Davos set and the money men he's talking to so understandable why it makes an appearance. Personally I'd be more worried if he was attempting a 'Ampshire 'Og or talking football in order to ingratiate himself with the proletariat. Rock on Ralph.

It's the fact that they put the cones out from 10pm, paying no attention to the fact that a large number of fans have to drive via the M3. Lunacy. Dear Highways Agency, please check the fixture list.
-
They commented on the delay on TV. Personally I thought he was looking for the pass, rather than the player but doubt it'll be rescinded.
-
If they'd stayed in at least it would have acted as a distraction....
-
If I were Jack I'd be looking for regular first team football. Unlikely to get that, even if Morgan goes we'll likely get a solid replacement.
-
It's only the same thing if you are a Pompey supporter..... ?
-
Personally I hope Liverpool make the final after a gruelling 120mins plus penalties. It'll be more of a distraction as they make the run in. Then I can hope for a comedy own goal resulting from a Lallana / Lovern headbutt.

If Clyne goes to Man Utd or Liverpool, I think it'll be a combination of wages and the fact that he doesn't believe he'll be able to manage the step up to the challenge of Champions League football...
-
Jonno Quick. Two goals vs. MK Dons that kept our promotion chase alive. In terms of impact per minute he's got to be up there.
-
Seeing as ManU are going to bid for Clyne in this window "to boost their Champions League hopes", I suggest we: - set a £50m price on him - submit a cheeky bid for De Gea as backup GK and Falcao (covering 10% wages) and Shaw (£5m)..... All to boost our CL aspirations.
