Imagine if this wasn't football, your long term solicitors are thinking of changing your favorite lawyer, do they contact you and say " hey, we're thinking of sacking XXXX and hoping to persuade XXXX to join us"? Or do the post office get in touch to say that they believe they should take Joe the postie off his round and they are hoping to hire a fitter younger replacement if he accepts the post? It's only because it's football and we all get so carried away, thinking we have any say in the plans of the club we love.

IF he has broken a bone, IF, then it doesn't say much for our physio's that ran on the pitch right after the initial stamp. They gave the foot a thorough once over, put his boot back on and told him to run it off. Surely trained and skilled medics would of identified something as serious as a break and got him off there and then to avoid further damage?

I meant that the fact that IMO the injury is to the top of his foot, hopefully only bruising, will stop him playing as thats the part of the foot that might get hurt again in 50/50 challenges. Sorry if i didn't explain myself properly.

Having watched it a few times on replay it looks to me like the top of his foot took the weight of Vardy stepping onto him. I guess its going to be pretty bruised and painful for a while. The biggest problem I see if its the part of the foot you might need to take impact from kicking the ball and in 50/50 challenges. Unfortunately i suspect Wednesday is just too close to the injury.
