Best player on the pitch in the first half. If we had someone with pace making runs off the centre backs and in the channels he'd pick them out with ease. It is a pity he seems to be made of biscuits and just crumbles after an hour on the pitch.

Looked it to me from the corner of the Family Stand.

Marshall has been excellent all season. I'd happily have him here him if he leaves Cardiff in the summer.
-
Oh well. No point getting worked up about it.
-
Apparently he was with us before we released him and he joined their youth "set up". So their great white hope is a scummer. That'll please the web-toed few.

You could still park in Woolston for free then get the bus to the ground for £1 each. Can't say there's anywhere that good to eat there apart from the cafe which does a decent fry up.

He's my choice too. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/dec/13/uruguay-president-jose-mujica

Why would someone open another cinema there when there are already 3 others within easy walking distance? What we need is a decent mid sized music/events venue like the BIC, not more shops.

I have fond memories of going nuts by myself in a pub in Chiswick when Kevin Phillips made it 2-2 at Old Trafford in 2004. Obviously, because we were in West London, everyone else in the pub was supporting Man Utd.

What's the point of this? http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/video/sport/fogden-enjoys-pompey-roar-3440100429001

On the face of it this is standard Allen filler about their new Premier League star in waiting. Look at it a bit deeper and a cynic may suggest it could be a story planted by a football club who need every penny possible from player sales in the summer to balance their books. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/ferry-pompey-youngster-destined-for-the-top-1-5988838 They may as well have tattooed FOR SALE on Whatmough's forehead and had done with it. Shhh. Just don't let any prospective buyer see this. [video=youtube;-QRlyvmRHys]

An Evening with Guillem Balague - Special Guest Jesus Perez
The Cat replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Strange time to be having it. Hope they throw in a few fresh pastries. -
Weather dependent, but I'm considering a mankini.
-
Ahh, I wasn't aware of that.

I might well go with my son too.

Kicks off at 1507 according to the BBC. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/southampton/fixtures I wonder if Pochettino will mix things up. Clearly Rodriguez will be out and hopefully Boruc back. For some reason I can see Wanyama coming in for Cork. Would like to see Ramirez given a start too. To be honest we really should be beating an average Cardiff team who will be massively low on confidence after being humped at home by Palace.

As far as I'm aware no one is allowed on site while the building work is ongoing. Access for U21 & U18 games is only for relatives of the players and a request must be made. Hopefully this will change when work is complete. Here, this is from the OS: "Due to extensive building works taking place at the training ground, U18 games taking place at Staplewood will do so behind closed doors. Family members or scouts wishing to attend games should make a written or verbal request to the Training Ground and, wherever possible, we will confirm your request with an invitation to attend the game. Please note that there will be no car parking facilities at the Training Ground" http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/fixtures-results/u18-fixtures/

Josh Sims signs Professional contract at Southampton
The Cat replied to Lallana's Left Peg's topic in The Saints
Good to hear. Have been very impressed in the games I've seen. -
I hope all the ones with signs saying "camera not in use" underneath were turned on just for today. I've never been caught on average speed cameras but did get done on a static one in motorway roadworks coming back from a terrible Saints performance at Blackburn in 2005.
-
I didn't used to think he was all that, but Pochettino has turned him into an integral part of his system. His calm and methodical play, plus his positioning and quiet professionalism are vital to the way the team performs. More than glad to be proved wrong, because let's face it I rarely am.
-
I saw him in the U21 game against Liverpool. Scored a decent goal and looked fine. He's not the terrible player some make out.

Don't know the name but I'm pretty sure one of the bookshops that used to be in Whitely also has a shop in Gunwharf.

Completely. Labour would be massively odds on for the next election if they had David as leader.
