I cycled across there this morning not long after. 2 police cars and a fast response paramedic car were parked just down Saltmarsh Road. Hope the cyclist isn't too hurt.

A bigger city with more history and a larger population has more to do. No one would ever have guessed. My experiences of Liverpool are generally positive, those of the £10 a night 'hotel' in New Brighton on the Wirral less so.

I imagine most forums to be very similar with a mix of decent, moronic and normal posters. You can read what you want from them. Thought we played pretty well, just a frustrating result especially as we were totally in control before their first (offside) goal. I'd definitely like to see Ramirez start every game from now until the end of the season.

I have just finished series 2 of The Killing which was good but not as good as the incredible first series. Quite fancy starting the Bridge now but I don't want to overdose on Scandinavian cop shows. Enjoyed Babylon the other night and looking forward to the proper series starting later in the year. Walking Dead has started again which is possibly my favourite tv show of the last 10 years. Have been taping Mob City but yet to see it and despite having the first 3 series on DVD for over a year I've yet to start watching Breaking Bad.

We could lose every game 8-0 and not go down. The only thing lingering around here is the faint stench of the guff you fart out from your keyboard.

We took more to Sunderland for a lunchtime kick off than Stoke brought to St Mary's for a 3pm kick off with free travel. I'd say it was excellent support.

West Ham on a good run at the moment so this will be a tough game but if we play well we're more than capable of a win. I can't stand Nolan, chiefly because he's a dirty player who is constantly niggling and fouling but gets a right cob on if anyone dares touch him or a team mate. I'd be tempted to start with Wanyama and tell him to kick the **** all over the pitch.

I'm going to edit myself in to the Saints squad and turn up to Upton Park on Saturday and demand a game.
