It will be like one of those school matches when the home team is on the pitch waiting in the cold and rain until the opposition turn up, jump off the minibus, charge on the pitch and go 2-0 up in 5 minutes.

We used to queue for match tickets at the Dell in the mid 90's before we realised we could fax over our order on a Friday before leaving work and they'd process it first thing Saturday morning before the ticket office opened. Biggest queue I remember being in was for the FA Cup game against Pompey in 96. Seem to remember getting there at 6am and joining the queue a long way up Milton Road. Still got tickets though.

Doesn't this happen when the away team has sold out their allocation? I say this because a friend of mine with no purchase history wanted to take his son to the Yeovil game but wasn't allowed to buy tickets and had to get someone else to buy them for him. The club do this to stop away fans registering and sitting in the wrong end. There's a chance I know someone with 2 tickets for sale but I won't know until later or tomorrow morning, I'll let you know.

I'd like to see us beat Brighton at the Amex. The stuffing we got there 2 seasons ago still annoys me.

Rodriguez had the ball but it didn't look like any of the players had a clue who was going to take it without Lambert on the pitch. The crowd then started shouting for Guly, Rodriguez gave him the ball and he scored.

Seen him a few times now and always been impressed. I have no doubt he'll turn out to be a more than decent player.

Jones definitely smoked, he used to buy them from a shop I worked in. As for players smoking, well, it's up to them. Plenty of players do. Plenty of players also go out on the lash a lot which is probably just as bad for fitness.

Comfortable win, although Yeovil gave it a good go in the first half and could have gone in a goal up. Pleased for Guly (and the crowd who made him take the penalty) and massively chuffed for Gallagher that he got his first senior goal. Hopefully the first of many.

To be fair his view deserved that reaction. If one of my mates said it in the pub after a game everyone would fall about laughing.

Chelsea have 22 players out on loan. That's an embarrassment of riches.

Targett is nowhere near as good as Shaw. That's not to say he won't be a decent player but there's a big difference in ability between them. Would be silly to sell Shaw now. Wait until the summer when a bidding war will increase his price.

Bought mine this morning. Most of the blocks open were pretty full, for example 35 and 36 only had odd seats scattered about and a few together in the front and back rows. Bloke at ticket office said they'd been selling quickly the past few days.

What a nutter.

Presumably so the club can tell the public before the media do.
