One of the easiest grounds to get away with it at. A lot of their crowd is made up of daytrippers and tourists.
-
He's done alright I suppose.
-
490 served before 205. This would never happen at the deli counter in Sainsburys.
-
Maybe they're serving all the people who queued up all night at the stadium first.
-
Same here. I've never done it this way before, does it always work like this?
-
I'm 205 and currently cursing my mates who have only been to 1 away game.
-
I'm paying an illegal immigrant £5 to sleep out all night and reserve my place in the queue. People complain about them, but they have their uses.
-
I'd mix in a few first team players with the reserves, something like Davis Chambers Yoshida Hooiveld Fox (is he fit?) Cork JWP Davis Ramirez Lee Rodriguez I'd be tempted to put Lambert, Lallana, Schneiderlin etc on the bench, but I can us leaving most of the senior first team players at home.
-
Awful effort from both sets of fans. Stoke were very quiet, I didn't hear them sing Delilah once.
-
Bloke at the ticket office said we have taken the full allocation when I was down there yesterday.
-
The Alex allows kids in but they only have one screen for streamed games and it's a bit erratic.
-
Anyone got space in their car from Southampton area? Bloke I was going with has pulled out.
-
Nice little video that. I'm in the Family Stand and can confirm the Chapel add little to the atmosphere. Even when they were prompted to "give us a song" by the Northam on Saturday they barely made a noise. Still, at least they are in the stadium rather than sat at home in front of the tv/internet.

If we qualify for the Europa League should/would we decline to take part?

Those 2 grueling games against Steaua really took it out of the team. I was surprised we didn't get relegated in 2004 because of them. -

Turning down the Europa League because of qualifying through fair play is one thing, point blank refusing to play in it after winning a cup or finishing top 6 is completely nuts and would never happen. I hope we do qualify. I want more away trips like the one to Bucharest. -
I didn't realise until reading this thread that it's his first name which is double barreled and not his surname.

Our food waste bin blew over into the front garden and some food almost tipped out. My partner's mum who lives near Brighton was so concerned she decided to sit up all night incase anything happened (it didn't)

I've parked to the east of the ground before and walked across the field. It's not that far and free if you pick the right roads. Then coming out take back roads south until meeting up with the A34 and joining the M6 a junction further down.
-
It's pretty much all been said on this thread already, but that, and particularly the first half, was nigh on perfect. We just have to be the best coached, most disciplined team in the league. One question. Did Sidwell elbow Schneiderlin? Couldn't see from where I was sat.

He was almost unplayable at times today. Couldn't believe the amount of times Fulham players got away with fouling him. I'm glad the daft posts stating he shouldn't be our captain appear to have stopped. Funny that.

The atmosphere will be buzzing once Ramirez comes off the bench and scores a goal just like this to win us the game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TlL3DavlTWE

Win 3, draw 3, lose 2. Take your pick in which games these happen.

His wife looks well dirty.

Knock a tenner off the price for all TV home games. Guaranteed sell outs and a better atmosphere. We're not selling that many less than ten years ago when it was cheaper and every game wasn't free to watch on the internet.

Could be a bit of a scramble for those with 1 away. Annoyingly for us fans of a cheap Southern Rail fare to London there are engineering works that day.
