The clue is in the title 'where is all the money going', the title isn't 'why do we spend less money on wages and transfer fees then other prem clubs'.

Modern fans ruining the game.

Transfer Deadline Day Thread
Fan The Flames replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Completely ignoring the fact that we have signed 6 players, only 1 is coming back from injury and he is our club record signing. Alpine Saint cherry picking facts since Nov 2006. -
yawn, hasn't this type of thing been posted hundreds of times. Some people aren't happy at the moment, some people are happy to give it some more time, some people are never happy.

Jeremy Pied Joins - 2 Year Deal (Official)
Fan The Flames replied to SO16_Saint's topic in The Saints
A player is vulnerable when he moves to another club according to a piece by the clubs physio department last season. Clubs now recognise that changes in training methods put players in the danger zone for injuries. -
He won't come here

On the other side of the fence, i hate it when fans say 'I'll drive him there myself', it's been done to death. -

I thought 'early door's was a reference to getting into a pub before opening time and used quite heavily by our own Micky Channon. Used to describe doing something before the usual time like getting an early goal. -

'On the field of play', 'you can't legislate against that', them instead of those, 'your xxx' where xxx is meant to be an example but they then go on to name all the examples 'your Man U's, Chelsea's, Arsenal's, Man City's', 'he didn't get enough purchase on the ball'. -
Puel doesn't smile, we ARE ****ED.

You may need to look up sarcasm in the dictionary, but I forgive you as you are American.

Neville was right to have an opinion but as his prediction is in the future he isn't right yet.

I don't understand how does Rachel Riley helps watching it on a computer, is her head smaller than the average so it fits on a smaller screen better?

So you are unhappy, but you cant work what you want the club to do to change it. Is that because you can't work out why you are unhappy, despite our upcoming first European group campaign and our third top eight finish you've got a sad feeling but just cant work it out. Or is it that you know why you are unhappy but can't figure what would make it better or that you know why you are unhappy and you know what would make it better but you can't work out how to do it. Or is it that you want the club to spend lots of money on big transfer fees and big wages, is that what you mean by ambition. You guys use ambition as a euphemism and even when invited to state want you really mean you still hide behind it. Just come out and say what you really want, do you want Kat to bank roll the club and pay really big transfer fees and big wages. Do you want someone else to spend their own money to finance your dreams. When the evidence suggest that wages not transfer fees is connected to successs and we pay out about 75% of our income on wages, a level which is at the top end of sustainable, we are paying the best wages we can and we can not compete with the big clubs. The club is trying to fulfil it's 'ambition' to be a successful club by a different smarter route, it will take longer and it probably will never break us into the top club bracket but it will give us a club that can continually compete in the top ten of England. If you think that under the current regime that we will be the next Chelsea, Man City, Portsmouth, Leeds, Blackburn, Derby then you are a wonderful dreamer or 11. If you think the club is just about making money for Les and Kat then you are stupid.

Stop hiding behind the word 'ambition' and state exactly what you want the club to do and how they can do it.

Football to many today is as much about the peripheral things as it is about the football. The kit, the sponsor, the size of the ground, the managers style, closed season friendly locations, transfers, wages, the ceo, the chairman, the programme, the beer choice. I mean I care and are interested in these things, but people get so angry about them as though the worth of the club is reflected in them. As said a millions times, its the league table and cup performances that are important followed by our style of play. We've had some brilliant years but it doesn't seem enough for some people. They go on about ambition but what they really mean is they want the club to go for big players on big wages for the enjoyment that alone brings, regardless of the fact that we haven't done that and still achieved great things. People want us to emulate the big clubs so they can hold their own with all the plastic big club fans they know regardless of the fact that other clubs have tried that and are now struggling to get back in to the prem. We have had some brilliant times in recent years and have European group football to enjoy. I'm over the moon John.

I wouldn't be surprised if we actually paid these bigger clubs to take our favourite players and still paying a percentage their wages now to play against us. It's embarrassing we are a laughing stock.

Even more hype around Friday night - Pogba Debut
Fan The Flames replied to Give it to Ron's topic in The Saints
The stands will be full of south coast Man U fans, they have to be the ****iest fans of all. -
You need senior strong characters in the squad and that is worth more than his playing ability worth. So letting him go may not be such a good business decision and letting him go at this late in the closed season isn't such a clever idea.

I love this on this board, people getting upset about being called moaners or claiming people are closing down arguments. Just stand by your opinion and don't care what others think; you have obviously thought about it, considering the facts and concluded your position, you have haven't you.

In the Big Match clip I love the talk of the new system 4 4 2.

I like many only respond when I don't agree with something, mush this message board is where people disagree, you shouldn't take it so badly. You have flip flopped from thinking we will finish 5 and a cup final to everything's lost because we have sold three players that most thought we would lose. Then you are moaning like all the other moaners about our summer activities, despite having a good squad with european football to look forward too, the interest of a new boss and style of football, two good players coming back from injury. But you want a big signing so we can smash Watford and be top of the league for the momentum it will give us, and you call me childish, now that's ironic.
