The little idiot can't decide if it is a campaigning account or a parody account. The real *****s are those that are following it.

Wanyama Transfer Rumours - Summer 2015 Edition
Fan The Flames replied to brett24's topic in The Saints
Believe what you want. I know that if I was a fit young sportsman I wouldn't let a bug stop me playing in the biggest game of my Southampton career. Only muppets equate playing football to a job. They are sportsmen there is a world of difference. -

Does there need to be a new European League
Fan The Flames replied to Mr Biscuits's topic in The Saints
It's a bit short sighted to think that Sky and BT are tho only people who can create a breakaway league. BT have got into sports because Sky was nicking their broadband business, they are playing them at their own game, also because there is an industry belief that people we won't a combined provider for TV, broadband and mobile. I would guess that there are many organisations working on a European League or World League as we speak. I do think it will happen one day. -
Does there need to be a new European League
Fan The Flames replied to Mr Biscuits's topic in The Saints
They are not problems, they are just technicalities and consequences. There is no European League at the moment, the CL is still a cup competition. Undoubtedly the big clubs would have formed a European League by now if they really wanted too. But at the moment the CL teams have the best best of both worlds, domestic dominance and European games, both producing loads of cash, so whilst they can milk both cows the status quo will persist. You can't restrict wages or player movements because of European law, so it's difficult to know how you level the pitch. I wouldn't be against the big clubs ****ing off and leaving the English League, that would help make the EPL more competitive. Yes we would lose players to bigger clubs but that happens anyway, the finances of the league would drop but even with today's huge finances we still do not have enough to spend enough to get into and stay in the top four. -
If we get to the final you will be doing something else that day then.

I can't believe that Spurs are valued so high. They must be the most under performing club pound for pound.

Twelve years ago a good friend of mine who had amassed some debt sold his flat in Stretham. I remember sitting in the pub pleading with him not to sell but he couldn't handle the burden of the debt and the length of time it would take to clear it off, he said that he would buy again when he got himself straight. He sold up, cleared his debts did a bit of travelling and had a great old time. Twelves years on and he is in a rented flat, his old flat has trebled in value and he maintains its the biggest regret of his life. He now is a single dad has no security of tenure and says he has nothing to leave to his son.

Sky reporting Fonte in talks with Villa
Fan The Flames replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
I'm instinctively against it, but if it brought in good crowds it may be of benefit to the lower leagues. It couldn't be at the expense of other clubs so a professional fifth division may be needed. -

CONFIRMED - Virgil Van Dijk joins on Five Year Deal
Fan The Flames replied to Brizzie Saints's topic in The Saints
He has played 30 plus games in the last five seasons, that doesn't suggest he is always injured. The physio said the other week moving clubs is a time when players pick up these strains. So I don't think you have to worry about his resilience. -
Can anyone remember the woollen square hats of the late 80's, club badge on one side and Celtic, Rangers or Union Jack on the other side. They were a big deal for a while.

A trialist scored, will we see those days again?

Saints most liked team by other PL fans
Fan The Flames replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
You don't live in a bubble, you can form an opinion on teams you have never played. Afterall you have probably played Palace, Watford etc more than us. Anyway enjoy your season, you cute little cherries you. -
Put down your toenail collection, close your bus timetable book, undo the top button on your shirt and sit back and just enjoy them for what they are, light hearted fun.

Forster is out for the season, it's pointless putting him in your line ups.
