Indian super league - untapped potential?
Fan The Flames replied to ozzmeister's topic in The Saints
I fail to see what I'm being clueless about. With the rules on multiple ownership a feeder club is not useful, Arsenal were fined for loaning Bevern money years ago. They never got much out of the relationship, apart from the odd African player using Belgium as a stopping point for a EU visa. A feeder club is about as much use as a town being twinned. How do you think the big clubs got big abroad, it wasn't by raising their profile in emerging markets alone or what ever nonsense you want to spout, it's by being successful at home, simple as that. Having links with a Chinese club didn't do much for the fortunes of Stockport, who Lowe copied. Most understand that in modern day football you have to maximise income and that includes foreign interest, but you can't get the big numbers until you are good. It's all you wannabe businessmen who are clueless if you think there are clever strategies that will be a shortcut to untold riches. -
Indian super league - untapped potential?

Don't you think a team in India or wherever should exist in their own right to serve the fans of that area not as a subservient club for someone else's benefit. Create ties and pay matches there but leave feeder clubs should be outlawed. Well let the Indian authorities decide who they want to copy, anyway what sort of language are you talking this is sport. This Tescoisation of sport is so disappointing. -

That sounds appalling. We should stay out of it and let countries develop their own football structures. -
The facts beer came out, but he was sacked for gross misconduct with Scully saying tha Pulis had mental health problems.

I really don't see why anyone would be interested in writing a bit about how good a player is, who we didn't want to leave go to club we don't like. it like being asked to give a lift to your ex-girlfriend to her new boyfriends house, which you pathetically agree in a futile attempt to show her how great your are, because if being friends is all you can have then it better than nothing. But then you are driving home alone with the smell of her perfume still filling the car and the radio chews up your Tear for Fears tape probably at the same time as she and Peter Clovis are getting it on. Clare Williams I hate you.

See you are mishearing again. There were emphatic statements by the club stating the position, but people chose to not take it on face value but read between the lines and try to find the second meaning in everything. People were convinced of a doomsday scenario and were trying to interpret the club statements to fit their idea of events. As the statements were clear, by poor do you mean the frequency; because for the level headed the frequency was fine, others demanded a running commentary of statements from the club covering the summer dealings, well you are just not going to get that.

And all the roads to Wembley are winding When we lift the cup it will be blinding We never used to give a **** about the cups But we sure do now Because maybe You're gonna be the one to win it Because after all You're Toby Allderweild Not knowing how his name is pronounced I don't know if it works

The communication was clear, people just chose to believe something else.

How many more are big enough to apologise?
Fan The Flames replied to corsacar saint's topic in The Saints
Pompey went pop because they overspent on wages and fees; do you really think fans are going to be the 'critical friend' when someone else is bankrolling their dream. Fans only bleat when the purse strings are pulled tight, just like our fans did this summer. They euphemistically claim 'we lost our ambition' when they really meant was 'spend more of your money for us', then demanded 'do something so I can trust you again'. No balls. -

I'm going for Pelle; every team needs its standard bearer and I'm marching on behind Pelle the fella. UTS

I heard on Friday that according to a supposed MUFC itker that SFC turned own a £20m bid from MU for Schneiderlin.

Is this and the price of cheap cider the current hot topics under the flyovers of Norwich?
-
The appreciation for Pelle was as much for his all round play as it was for his attempts on goal. He control is excellent and he was always looking to bring someone else into the game. Even if he didn't score he had an excellent game. It seems the morons only watch streams and go to home games.

Hillarious how you can't avoid turning a genuine bit of skill into an opportunity for a dig. -
1 week to go, will Kruger, Koeman n Ko stick to their word?

so we are on countdown to the biggest toy throwing event his board has seen -
I went to the WFA Cup final in 99 when Southampton lost to Arsenal. There was a big hoof upfront, the CB went to header it, decided to let it bounce then jumped up to meet the rising ball and the ball sailed over her head, I left at half time.

People demanding that the club rebuild trust all because they wouldn't spend £50m of someone else's money is laughable. -
New players get less and less time to settle in these days.

My old man a PAFC supporter always said that Southampton fans were the worst for turning on players. -
Apparently she had a carpet on 2-1. She gets too much stick on here, we should all be a bit more grateful.

No, but I also believe that you are not the real Dellboy, it doesn't stop me reading your posts. It is brand myth making and I love it and Im going to wallow in it. It's a nice bit of fluff, it not like West Ham having 1966 as the last four digits of their ticket line.
