  2. Ticket info for the semi-final home leg: https://southamptonfc.com/matches/2016-17/efl-cup/saints-v-liverpool-2017-01-11/ticket-info
  3. And another... both goals headers from corners... Southampton FC ‏@SouthamptonFC GOAL: #SaintsFCU23s 2-0 #NUFC U23s (@Marcus9Barnes 45) Barnes grabs his second of the game. #saintsfc I think the squad depth just got a little bit deeper
  4. Talk of the devil... he just scored in today's U23 Premier League cup game... Southampton FC ‏@SouthamptonFC GOAL: #SaintsFCU23s 1-0 #NUFC U23s (@Marcus9Barnes 26) Barnes heads home to give #SaintsFC the lead!
  5. Ah, nice one. Cheers for the update sir.
  6. Seager was a co-commentator for a Saints u23 game a couple of months ago and IIRC he said he was aiming to get back to full training again in December. Not heard anything since. Interested to hear if LeG has an update. On a similar topic, I think I read last week somewhere that Marcus Barnes was back in training. IIRC he had a great scoring record for the u18s and was promoted to the u23s when Seager got injured before then picking up an injury himself. Will be great to see if Puel gives either or both a sniff of first team action in the second half of the season.

  8. Tweaked it slightly
  9. Yep, lots of issues occurring at the same time which compounded the situation. The earlier emergency repair work on a broken rail on the mainline at Surbiton also meant that a lot of trains were 'in the wrong place' later in the evening. I ended up walking the 2.5 miles from the stadium to Kings Cross to avoid the crush at Highbury and Islington tube station. The Northern line was a breeze from there. Managed to get on the late running 22:39 from Waterloo which would appear to be the last train before chaos ensued! #firstworldproblems
  10. Yep...happens on the 'quick reply' panel but it's ok if you 'go advanced'
  11. Hey FF... I've just had Puel on the blower asking if you could give the pre-match team talks in the next round? You up for that me ol' mucker? P.S. How come you've given your login credentials to that Glasgow fella?
  12. I'd go with... Forster Cedric Fonte Virgil Bertrand Romeu Davis Hojbjerg Sims Redmond Austin Subs: Lewis, Yoshida, McQueen, JWP, Clasie, Long, Boufal Injured/Rested/Dropped: McCarthy, Targett, Martina, Stephens, Reed, Hesketh, Tadic, JRod
  13. On the train on the way home. Enjoyed that. Clasie my MotM. Just heard the semi final draw.... Meh... P.s. great cameo from Sims. We've got a real gem on our hands there.
  14. Hook, line and sinker....
  15. Cheers for info. Public transport having a bad day of all days. Just check TFL website and it's saying "Minor Delays" on the Victoria line now due to the earlier "Customer Incident" : https://tfl.gov.uk/tube-dlr-overground/status/#line-lul-victoria So looks like almost back to 'normal'.
  16. All seems to have gone a bit quiet since this news article in March 2015: http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11674/9783211/portsmouth-creditors-facing-wait-for-cash Baker Tilly said back then that they 'may need another 2 years' to conclude their investigations. So, we should be seeing their report sometime in the new year.... Can someone remember what happened in Luton's case? Didn't the club, by then being run by new owners, get docked points based on the misdemeanors of the previous owners? Of course, this won't apply to Pompey given they are a completely different club to the one that used to play at Fratton Park... p.s. for the record, Baker Tilly now trade as RSM UK ( https://www.rsmuk.com/who-we-are/our-history )
  17. Info for anyone planning on using the Piccadilly Line tonight. Expect it to be much busier than normal. http://www.standard.co.uk/news/transport/tube-chaos-on-piccadilly-line-is-to-continue-for-weeks-in-run-up-to-christmas-tfl-confirms-a3407836.html
