  1. What is odd about the American sports system with drafts going to the worst team first and wage caps is that it has the feel of a Communist idea rather than the home of Capitalism.
  2. Does it? I think it is one of the best line-ups he has picked all through a poor season. What is key is the tactical instructions he has given them. What would you have picked for today then?
  3. I've never claimed to be infallible!
  4. It looks to be a 4-2-3-1 system, why is that so bad? It is the formation Koeman led us to 6th place using. What is key is the tactics of where the defensive line is held, Pellegrino often opts to fall back deep when not in possession. How does he get time if Pellegrino doesn't pick him? That is self defeating.
  5. That could possibly be explained if Pellegrino knew he was in last chance saloon and he has to get a win today or be sacked. A final throw of the dice perhaps so has gone more attacking than his normal cautious approach.
  6. The bit in bold is pretty self explanatory as to how it affects the fans... we'd be watching a lower standard of football. Cue jokes of how it can't get any worse than it is this season, well with worse players it could!
  7. Are we now criticising him for playing an extra attacking creative player?
  8. You know there is a middle ground between" sitting in the dark ignoring phone calls" and "****ing it up at the local clubs"? Those are two extremes and neither is good.
  9. It is surprisingly positive...
  10. The Oyston's are worse than either of them.
  11. That would be a financial disaster for Saints! Resulting in a big drop in income, lower transfer and wage budget and lower quality of players to watch. A bit like dropping out of the Premier League...
  12. A lot of people fail to grasp that for an owner to be "out", there has to be someone to sell to. They can't sell to no-one or be sacked from their ownership of a company.
  13. If this had been post Pochettino or Koeman then I wouldn't want Billic or Hughes, given the current manager it is sad to be at the point where I'd be happy to take either than endure the current shambles of a manager. If I had to pick from those only those two I'd go for Hughes, but I hope they can pick a gem from elsewhere in Europe.
  14. Sitting in a dark room ignoring phone calls from your mother is "responding in the right way"?
  15. How much rope does Kenny have left? Biggest club in the 3rd tier is... 9th (or 53rd out of 92 )
  16. He isn't, he is mentally unstable as highlighted above in post 119.
  17. He certainly does have a list of previous offences... (he is mentally unhinged!!!) Exhibit 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgUtiv4z33Y Exhibit 2 Exhibit 3 Exhibit 4 etc etc etc (lots more where they came from!)
  18. I'm puzzled how you have decided it "sums up the shambolic state the club is in", it isn't a club decision they have actually made... it is a suggestion on an internet forum by ART.
  19. I thought we weren't allowed to talk about Project Mayhem?
  20. Any caretaker manager would more likely be Martin Hunter or Radhi Jaidi, with Kelvin assisting them.
  21. I got this in the post this morning...
  22. Hoedt, Ward-Prowse and Hojbjerg would all likely attract a top flight bid. It doesn't look like Olomola will be at Saints regardless of us staying up or not, let alone in the starting XI.
  23. Nah... the weakest link is Pellegrino Les is catching up with him if he doesn't sack him soon.
