I've read loads of that site before. These guys are brilliant, they send scammers to different countries, get them to handwrite books and one even got some to re-enact the 'dead parrot' Monty Python scene, record it and send the DVD! Outstanding stuff.

Connolly came over to the bench and spoke to Pardew before being subbed, so I'd say he had a knock of some sort.
-
I'd interested to know this too. I'd presume it'd be the 12th game or so, which is Huddersfield on the 2nd of Jan. This would make sense, being the New Year an' all.

He certainly was. Do you think budgetary constraints have reduced Pompey's scouting network to a copy of Champ Man c.2000/01?!
-
No. Only Fuller and Davies went directly from us to them. Higgy and Delap both went via Sunderland. Does anyone actually believe this tripe about Pulis Snr coming here and we had sign his son as part of the deal? If this isn't the biggest load of ****** I've ever heard, I don't know what is. Stoke went up automatically that year, whilst we stayed up on the last day. Very likely.

Did he do a self-diagnosis?!

Very good. Every Skate should read that and weep...

What a load of sh!te. He actually scored! God knows why it wasn't given as it went a foot over the line, lucky Papa put it in.

Pompey's latest transfer target round up..

What's this got to do with anything? Seeing as he plays for Bolton. -
Brilliant, the Blue Few must been ****ting it evertime this chancer opens his gob. If he doesn't invest in the team and keep them up, he'll be eroding the infrastructure! Building foundations?! Does he hope to take them down to Non-League and then build from there?! They are in a world of sh!t, and I will watching each step with pleasure after all the stick we've had for our demise...

Anyone know how many of the 'best fans in the world' actually travelled up there this eve? I'll take a guess at 2/300 max.

I'd be surprised if Gobern gets anywhere near the 'quality' of Carlton Palmer. He got alot of stick, but was a decent player for us and a good few teams at the top level and played for England (albeit under Taylor). If Gobern ever plays for England, I'll eat a jester's hat.

I bought 3 t-shirts and got stung for about £25 for tax and charges - wasn't impressed.

I think the blatant influence of the Big 4 will be held up for all to see in this situation and Chelsea will get away with it scot-free. If this is actually imposed, I'll eat a jester's hat.

Gypo is the more oldschool term and would have also been acceptable...

Unless he's a right-winger, I find this strange. His profile lists him as an AM, surely Lallana is best placed for this position? Anyway, not grumbling about another addition, cos we need the numbers and I doubt we are paying anything for this kid. Just think there could be other areas we need to strengthen.

I had a chat today with someone who's daughter is an Accountant at Pompey. She is working 12hr days and, wouldn't give details, but said they are in a world of sh*t.

It's a double-edged sword - if this ruck didn't involve Gerrard, it never would have got to Court in the first place...

The Daily Sport, although I do think they are still living off of great old headlines like: 'double-decker bus found on the moon' and 'I gave birth to a radiator'.

I would take Coppell in a flash, but I suspect he'll waiting for an early-season managerial casualty in the Prem. Likewise with WGS (which was always unrealistic anyway). All the noises coming out are that Wotte is staying. I'm a little concerned about his ability to get decent players in. Maybe I'm being pessimistic, but the 'Ryan Smith is world-class' quote is niggling me somewhat. I'm also concerned that we need to learn our lesson from last season and not rely on youngsters too much. Mills, Lancashire, White, Thomson, Patterson need to be bit part players next season to aid their development. We can't rely on a team with too much emphasis on Youth to get to the Playoffs - which should still be our ambition.

Paul Rideout played nearly 90 times for the first team! Scott McDonald also made 2 sub appearances.

Rupert Lowe ate my hamster.

I heard Mike Osman nicked cash out of a collection bucket to buy Rupert a pint.
