  1. 3-0!!! Yessssssssssss He stands at over 6ft 3 Ricky! Ricky! COYR's!
  2. Lol!! Are you kidding me? He's not good enough for our team yet is the league top scorer? Charlie I know you have a bit of a rep on here as a "moaner" but seriously at least pick something sensible! The guys had a few off games but so many of our chances come from Lamberts lay offs, passes or him pulling defenders away with his movement its untrue. Which of our world class players currently behind him in the pecking order would you chose to start with?
  3. Really? See I love going to away games but that was always tinged with the not wanting to get hammered by your chelskis, arsenal or man utds at an away game. Looking at the money side, the more money the club itself makes the better, Liebhers model already appears to be sensible inputs of money and not the standard "sugar daddy" pump us full of cash model. I'm with Tim, get the easiest draw possible and progress as far as possible and then see what happens! Think of the amount of times winning our easy draw would have ended up with us playing another crap team next round and us kicking ourselves that we have lost to Rotherham*,Port Vale*, Reading*, Stockport* et al.
  4. Yeah truely worrying ;-)
  5. Ha you just know the FA don't have the bottle to take points off of ANY club without the administration factor. I imagine a smallish fine for Norwich and that will be that.
  6. Whilst not the best right back in the world you cant fault the lads effort and application in most games. Presumably you think he should have been covering Harding the left back who was caught way out of position on Sunday by a give and go for their right winger Cox? I dont think replacing James with Murty will necessarily be the one quick fix solution. Possibly a covering midfielder and going back to 4-5-1 would help us out but at the end of the day I guess we have to go with what Pards thinks is best, it was only 96 mins of game time ago that the man was a living god on this board!
  7. Odd sub IMO Antonio has been superb today, lets hope waigo has his knock it in from 2 yards boots on!
  8. Quoted from this article; "Balance Kachloul's exit with the new faces. Former QPR midfielder Paul Murray's arrival may have been unheralded, but he's an able replacement for Kachloul." Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooo? Wiki said he played 1 game for us! I cant even say Id ever heard of him!
  9. Euell missed verses Blackpool the year before im sure?
  10. Really? The sky commentator kept picking him out all of the 2ndhalf saying how well he had played and what a good prospect he was. Seemed decent to me to be honest! Cracking tackle to take out ol' John jo cant really pick fault with him.
  11. Agreed whilst praying leeds get a tough away trip to the likes of carlisle who gave us some hassle. Let Norwich fight it out with MK dons!
  12. Charlton look to be getting a foothold in this game in the last 10 mins, we reallllllly need a 2nd goal to put this to bed! How blatant was the handball from lamberts shot!?! Also lol that the ref had to change at half time :-)
  13. Nice to see you took the winkey thing in there =] Of course we are better but Northampton only appear to have gotten worse in the last 2 months so hardly condusive to a top quality enjoyable game is it.
  14. If its anything like the last round vs Torquay no ET means straight to penalties and everyone outta the ground by 9:45 if that helps =]
  15. You didnt go to the league cup game did you mate?! ;-) Boring draw in the sense we have played them alot in the cups recently. Good draw in the sense we should roll them over and the 3rd round awaits.
  16. Just out of interest, do FA cup bookings work like in the champions league e.g. 2 in that comp and 1 game suspension or do they work as part of the wider 5 bookings = 1 suspension?
  17. Saints: Davis, James, Thomas, Jaidi, Harding, Antonio, Hammond, Schneiderlin, Lallana, Lambert, Connolly. Subs: Bialkowski, Perry, Holmes, Mills, Wotton, Gobern, Waigo. On the bench according to the OS!
  18. In total he actually has 12 I'm sure? 10 league, 1 league cup (debut to Northampton) and 1 for Brizzle, Also hate to whizz on anyones fireworks but Grant Holt at Norwich also has 12 ... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/norwich/club_stats/default.stm Not sure why the BBC have miffed up I think perhaps they have some scorers with their league cup goals and others without them :-s
  19. Its change it up time or accept a defeat methinks. Take off wotton stick on Connolly and replace MS with Antonio. Has sounded like "one of them" games where we have all the ball and no end product!
  20. The help for heros idea is good but I still think we should run the poppy shirts again. We actually have a game on the 11th I believe (Charlton?) so what better time?
  21. I don't know whats funnier, the fact they have a transfer embargo or the fact they are trying to sign league 2 rejects to "improve" the quality of their squad. "Lets all lol at pompey, lets all Lol at Pompey la la la la" :-D
  22. Can't help but ask, is that from the horses mouth so to speak or your own view on the situation? I think if he continues to play well up until January someone like Fulham, Everton or a Wigan might stick in a cheeky bid for him.
  23. NOOOOOOOOO!! You know what that would mean in the very next game! lol Bring on the Orient next weekend and hopefully getting ourselves out of the relegation zone then onwards and upwards!
  24. Yessssssss!!! Connolly you lil beauty! Legend in the making me thinks!! 3-1!
  25. I think the main question after the Torquay game for me was, can he actually cross!? Pretty important winger. Seems to be very direct just needs a bit of crossing practice!
