Think I can put this one to bed ... Just seen him coming out of the stadium after the game and getting his tickets for another game so think he's ok!
-
You have to wonder why Waigo cant get a game at the moment when it clearly sounds like were struggling to get the ball out of our own half!
-
Bear in mind Lansbury (who Wilshire is rated better than) is doing a top job at Watford this season after only 16 appearance last year on loan at Scunny. If Wilshire really is the next big thing we could do worse than loaning him ... not that I think we have a hope in hells chance of this going through! As for Stock not overly sure along with the rest of you if this rumour actually has any legs!
-
A better one would be Markus planting a SFC Flag in the center circle at Fratton after a 90th minute replay winner ala Souness! ... We can but wish I suppose!

You my friend are a legend =] -
Anyone else disappointed for Waigo that he hasnt got a start considering his previous input to this cup run! Bart really deserved to keep his spot as well IMO. Bit worried with that team really I suspect our midfield to struggle a bit and Mills will probably get a bit of a roasting so hope he can come through this ok!
-
Nope I want us to win :-) Carlisle if we get there please!! The atmosphere is what you make it and if we win who cares!
-
Not strictly a target for January but Chris Martin at Norwich is out of contract in the summer, 16 goals this season and according to Lambert is the best finisher at the club. Either a cheeky bid now or get him in for next season?
-
Really? Based on what? Beckfords a consistent scorer in this division Jackson after a decent start has not exactly set the world alight. Paying over a million for Jackson wouldnt be the most sensible bit of business IMO. We aren't badly off for strikers to my mind its the need for a RB and a more attacking central midfielder.
-
Koller perhaps? ;-) In all seriousness Id love to see us sign a more attacking central midfielder like hoolahan, Barnard at Sauuufend would also be good Im not sure I can see why we'd want Jackson from Gillingham, hardly setting the world alight there and at the prices quoted for him (1.5-2m) defo no thanks! Right back and a center back would also cheer me up thanks ML =]

I think you have to put those results into context to get any real meaning out of them thought mate; Norwich - Clearly a very good team in this division not many teams have beaten them this season Charlton - At the time top of the division and we were teh first team to take a point off of them at the Valley Huddersfield - Different squad different time same as with Swindon, may as well have been a different season Colchester - New manager effect, just look what happened with Brighton Leeds- Top of the division lost no games at home this season and we just about lost 1-0! Overall sounded that really they bossed the game and probably deserved the points, a win against Exeter will get us back on track though. Sounded VERY lucky that Lambert stayed on but I'm willing to wait and see what someone who actually went thinks on that one!! Why is it the referees in this division seem to let more of that sort of thing go basically un-punished?! (As in yellow card rather than the mandatory Red for violent conduct!)

Should Pardew rest players in JPT game ahead of Leeds?

Should Pardew rest players in JPT game ahead of Leeds?

I remember (if you're thinking of the same game as me) old Bagpuss allegedly made a deal with Fergie that if we put out a weakend team in the cup, they would put a weakend team out in the last league game ... That worked well ey!? As for this game to my mind, keep us winning = keeping a full strength team on the pitch. I appreciate the league is the priority but damn it I want us to win a trophy this year!! -
Point 1 - How many players to your knowledge have taken part in penalty shoot outs in a world cup final in the last 20 years? I make it what? 11 maximum Point 2 - How many of them where English? Point 3- How many Recent TOP level English professionals have a better penalty taking strike rate than Le Tissier? We get it, You feel his so far as we can tell pretty much false confession of betting on a game ... was that match even actually on tv?!, makes him a bad bad man But as a saints fan you can only respect what the guy did for us and get off his back! All my questions are asked in sincerly so if you'd like to get back to me that would be ace cheers =]

Nice to see over the last 10 games we are only 2nd in the form table to Norwich. Also over the last 6 (away games only) we are top of the form table, bit different to our usual away form!
-
3-1 We only win 3-1 we only win 3-1
-
3-0!!! Yessssssssssss He stands at over 6ft 3 Ricky! Ricky! COYR's!
-
Lol!! Are you kidding me? He's not good enough for our team yet is the league top scorer? Charlie I know you have a bit of a rep on here as a "moaner" but seriously at least pick something sensible! The guys had a few off games but so many of our chances come from Lamberts lay offs, passes or him pulling defenders away with his movement its untrue. Which of our world class players currently behind him in the pecking order would you chose to start with?
-
Really? See I love going to away games but that was always tinged with the not wanting to get hammered by your chelskis, arsenal or man utds at an away game. Looking at the money side, the more money the club itself makes the better, Liebhers model already appears to be sensible inputs of money and not the standard "sugar daddy" pump us full of cash model. I'm with Tim, get the easiest draw possible and progress as far as possible and then see what happens! Think of the amount of times winning our easy draw would have ended up with us playing another crap team next round and us kicking ourselves that we have lost to Rotherham*,Port Vale*, Reading*, Stockport* et al.
-
Yeah truely worrying ;-)
-
Ha you just know the FA don't have the bottle to take points off of ANY club without the administration factor. I imagine a smallish fine for Norwich and that will be that.
-
Whilst not the best right back in the world you cant fault the lads effort and application in most games. Presumably you think he should have been covering Harding the left back who was caught way out of position on Sunday by a give and go for their right winger Cox? I dont think replacing James with Murty will necessarily be the one quick fix solution. Possibly a covering midfielder and going back to 4-5-1 would help us out but at the end of the day I guess we have to go with what Pards thinks is best, it was only 96 mins of game time ago that the man was a living god on this board!
-
Odd sub IMO Antonio has been superb today, lets hope waigo has his knock it in from 2 yards boots on!
-
Quoted from this article; "Balance Kachloul's exit with the new faces. Former QPR midfielder Paul Murray's arrival may have been unheralded, but he's an able replacement for Kachloul." Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooo? Wiki said he played 1 game for us! I cant even say Id ever heard of him!

Euell missed verses Blackpool the year before im sure?
