Bit arrogant, to say the least, I'm not certain MLT and GLS would agree with your assessment.

Not if he isn't registered in the squad. We have Harry Lewis, Jack Rose, Alex Cull and Adam Parkes anyway. I think Lewis is already.considered the #3. If Forster really wants to kick start his career he would take a pay cut to go elsewhere. Issue is clearly that no one else really wants to take him, understandably.

Really? I hope you are trying to be ironic or something.

Just two games after the the shackles were removed by the departure of Les Reed.

Hard work, playing in a settled team and with good coaching. Needs help with his concentration. It can be done. Technically he is a very good player, but his mind tells him he is too good to make mistakes. It's called naivety and inexperience. He was found out in the PL and needs to learn, and to do that he needs to be in a different place. The loan is exactly what's needed, just not sure about the option to buy. He is still young for a CB, time is on his side. Would also help if he was playing alongside some experience, as he was promised when he joined (VvD).

Shame, Hoedt has been bloody awful, making absolutely awful mistakes every game. Loses concentration and has a unwarranted high opinion of himself. But with a decent loan, some good coaching and some humble pie I'm sure he could become a top CB. He is a technically very good player, hope we don't come to regret the option to buy part of his deal.

Not watched him much before then. Has regularly done this when he has played. Very composed on the ball and likes to get forward.

Two of them are already in the 25 man squad (Gallagher and Barnes), Hesketh needs to be included if he is going to play, no indication thus far that it has been done. Harry Lewis being a goalkeeper, is long term, and our number 3, unlikely he will not be retained next season. Can't see that Ralph would have added Barnes last week if it wasn't his intention to use him in the remainder of this season. Don't believe for a minute that Alfie Jones won't be retained next season. Sims doesn't seem to have progressed and it doesn't look like Ralph is going to use him, so I guess he will probably be released, shame, thought he was going to be one that developed sufficiently. Harry Reed will probably come back next season. We will be unloading a few of the current squad no doubt (Forster, Rose, Austin, Long, Elyanoussi, Hoedt, Boufal, Carrillo, Clasie) so there will be some spaces. I guess to some extent it all depends what happens to us next season, if we were to drop to the Championship, which is still a possibility though increasingly unlikely I could see all of the above remaining.

Number of points in itself isn't really the target any more, the crucial thing is to beat the teams around us. We have to aim to win against Palace, Cardiff and Fulham, draw against Burnley. If we do this we will be safe.

Hojbjerg, Bertrand and Romeu all Chmapions League winners/champions.

Most strikers are like that. Look at Pelle, went months without scoring when the weather got a bit cold. How has Long got on in the scoring regularly stakes (I suppose you could argue once per manager is regular)? Both at Blackburn and Brum Gallagher was affected by injuries and different systems impacting how he was deployed. I'm sure he wouldn't have done well under Pellegrino or Puel with the dire football they played, but he will suit Ralph's style of play much better. Anyway the point is to rebuff the absolute nonsense post on here by Didcot? that he failed at B&B and so was only League One standard. How anyone could post such drivel and be expected to be taken seriously is beyond me and most others on here.
-
Delivered pretty well at both clubs considering they were both shambles. 11 goals for Blackburn is hardly failing. Can you imagine Shane Long scoring 11? He's not going to be the new Harry Kane but certainly could provide more than Chas and Shane.
-
He doesn't lack pace. Showed a clean pair of heels to Derby defenders last night. Perhaps he looks slow due to his height but once he gets going he is actually very quick Looked confident last night, much more mature than some of our other youngsters, comes with the experience e of his loan moves. Won headers, was physically imposing. Of course he didn't score a hattrick so I guess he will be classed as a failure by some on here, but clearly Ralph sees some merit in him. By the way shout out for Slattery, he looks like he has something about him, not like the rabbits in the headlights of Johnson and Valery.
-
Terrible last night though he did improve in the 2nd half. Most of his issues have been noted already but the major problem is that he can't pass the ball. He does not get the weight of the pass right so every pass is either short or reaches his team mate with no pace resulting in the move breaking down or being delayed. This is basic technique for a professional footballer and shocking that a player we have signed cannot master it. No way should he ever be considered for us again. Better to bring back Ali Dia if he can be found. We have young players at the club who can perform way better.

Johnson looks a liability. Some decent crosses but will be lucky to stay on the pitch. Moi is a complete and utter waste of space, makes Carillo look world class. Ramsay looks dodgy, his awful pass out should have been punished, poor use of VAR saved his embarrassment. Need to get Redmond and Gallagher on instead of Long and Moi. Targett for Johnson might help as well. -

Some muddled thinking here, 434 is bad enough then you propose a 343 or 3421 team. Doesn't make a lot of sense -
Because at the moment we only have 24 players on the list (including Marcus Barnes who has just been added). We could also easily remove a keeper, and if Forster goes then that would be another spare slot.

Three and a half years after his death but only just after the conclusion of the probate procedures. Kat had no real say in things until then contrary to what some on here suggest. Cortese was one of the executors of Markus' will.
-
Paul Buckle was very good in the 90s with clubs like Torquay and Luton. Used to be highly regarded but lost his way somewhere. Sounds a bit old school for us but hqs to be an improvement on the last bloke.
-
Bailey Peacock-Farrell has a knee injury and Jamal Blackman was on loan is injured and gone back to his parent club. Apart from some untried youngsters they don't have anyone else. They are desparate for a keeper.
-
Needs to learn to deal with being wound up by cheating litlle scroats like Chilwell.
-
He'll stay as long as he wants. It will have little to do with whether he is successful or not. He decides when the job is no longer interesting. Best case, end of next season if we are lucky.

Their u23s are mid table Division 2, looks like they may have had their version of Hunter turned them from top academy to also rans.

Anyone have a double on Long to score winner for us and Long to score winner against the Skates? Great result.
