  1. One of the top teams in Europe in the mid 70s, Ujpest Dosza (same team, just changed their name a little), European Cup SF and QF, they were actually pretty well known at the time.
  2. Thats a very iffy post... Makes me feel somewhat ill...
  3. Pity our shirts no longer have collars, otherwise there could be a song there somewhere...
  4. Think that was clear when he was appointed as coach
  5. Who? Details on the OS, Signed from Ujpest, who we played the other day 6'4" central defender
  6. Next week, a similar role in the Bar. A more appropriate job...
  7. Despite the shabby way he has been treated, commitment has never been lacking. Should be one of the first names on the team sheet.
  8. ET - the sooner he goes back to whatever planet he comes from the better
  9. A Team Martin McGrath Peach Holmes Osgood B Team Flowers Mills (Mick) Steele Stokes Boyer
  10. Whie I agree that Lowe is a clueless liability, unfortunately Football League rules also mean that it is not possible to insert a recall clause.
  11. League rules prohibit recall clauses in standard loans for half a season, so no recall for ND this season. We could recall Rasiak from Watford, but only if it is done by end tomorrow. Wotte says he intends to use Dyer NEXT season, clearly he knows he cannot have him back this season. Loan rules from the Football League: 48 Standard and Emergency Loans 48.1 Standard Loans. Subject to the provisions of Regulation 47.3, Standard Loan transfers shall only be approved in accordance with following provisions:- 48.1.1 Subject to the proviso that the duration of a Standard Loan must be the time between two Registration Periods, Standard Loans can be for half a Season or a full Season. Any recall clause requiring the early termination of a Standard Loan can only be included in a full Season Standard Loan and this can only be activated during the second (January) Registration Period If you want the full rules look here on the Brentford site where someone found the FL rules a while back: http://www.griffinpark.org/forums/showthread.php?t=55637
  12. No, its too tame Fact is SFC can do what they want inside SMS, it is private property and no-one has any right to be inside the ground at any time except under the terms and conditions of entry. Rupes has made it clear on many occassions that having supporters in the ground is not what he wants. he doesn't care if anyone comes to the games or not, and clearly does all he can to minimise disturbances caused by supporters. Thats why we're in the sorry state we are.
  13. Usually you cannot recall players on season-long loans. Even when it is possible it can only be done during the transfer window.
  14. Agreed, three years ago Dyer was potentially going to be a better player than Theo, many pundits thought. Difference is that Theo is an intelligent lad, put his mind to it, worked hard, and got to where he wanted to be. Whereas Dyer went clubbing in Southsea. What do you expect from Trowbridge
  15. "Lowe" and "logical", two words not often used in the same paragraph
  16. Serious question, where is the A and B team listed, so I can think about who to add? Sorry if its obvious, but its not to me.
  17. 500 more than the pro Lowe march attracted. All the Luvvies together would struggle to put together a 5-a-side team, on top of that they wouldn't know how to play football either.
  18. So, what if he doesn't leave during the transfer window but goes out on loan, as seems much more likely?
  19. Best of luck to all on the march today, wish I could be there with you. Hope all goes peacefully and that the message is loud and clear.
  20. Think its a **** poor article myself, clearly hasn't been watching much (thinks our total football style is great), applauds the youngsters who turned things round against Norwich (so Saga and Euell are now youngster are they, I'm not forgetting McLaggon of course). Thinks Wotte will have a strong bond with our youngstersm while Wotte himself has been bigging up the older, more experienced players since his takeover. Just shows what people who know nothing can get away with when they write these articles (if indeed they do write them). There are some fair points undoubtedly, but as a whole it is total drivel.

Funny that there is a gap in your statement after Play Offs, would that be the bit where he saw the execs that he appointed driving the club towards administration? Selective memory is a wonderful gift.
  22. The students who lived there in the mid 70s always found they had more friends on a match day/evening Trouble was you couldn't see all of the pitch from the balcony.
  23. We've already got 2 like that, no more thanks...
  24. Nothing to do with him being treated like a leper by Lowe and co then, and only played when it was clear he wasn't going anywhere. I'm surprised its taken this long for Rudi to finally stick 2 fingers up to the Club and say Im offski... Sad to see the guy forced out in this way, basically the only thing even remotely close to a flare player we have any more.
  25. Only if its next month, not this...
