  1. Glad to see Wolves stay up, I really like them as a club. They've got a good squad as well, which would've been dismantled if they had gone down. Looking forward to giving Ollie some stick next season!
  2. F*cking hell, Wolves 3-0 down now. I WANT MY 25K!
  3. Completely wrong. The odds are far, far higher than 24/1.
  4. Van Persie equalises for Arsenal.
  5. Teams in capitals to win, not all of them are playing at home. Home teams to win - Wolves, Stoke, Spurs Away teams to win - Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, West Brom Everyone else to draw.
  6. Blackpool and Wigan to go down imo. Got a nice tasty accy on as well - incredibly long odds but would be nice if it came off... MAN UTD vs Blackpool MAN CITY vs Bolton WOLVES vs Blackburn ARSENAL vs Fulham WIN WEST BROM vs Newcastle STOKE vs Wigan SPURS vs Birmingham West Ham VS Sunderland Aston Villa VS Liverpool DRAW Everton VS Chelsea Stake: £4.00 Returns: £24,991.84
  7. Got my bet on for Survival Sunday - I usually steer away from Prem games when betting as they can go either way, but as it's the last day of the season I thought i'd give it a go. I've done all 10 games, big odds! Blackpool vs Man Utd ------------------------- Man Utd win Bolton vs Man City --------------------------- Man City win Blackburn vs Wolves ------------------------ - Wolves win Fulham vs Arsenal ---------------------------- Arsenal win Newcastle vs West Brom ---------------------- West Brom win Stoke vs Wigan ------------------------------ Stoke win Tottenham vs Birmingham --------------------- Spurs win West Ham vs Sunderland ---------------------- Draw Aston Villa vs Liverpool ------------------------ Draw Everton vs Chelsea --------------------------- Draw Stake: £4.00 Returns: £24,991.84 Tasty...
  8. Sometimes I wish there was no such thing as religion - think how much better the world would be without the secular time-bombs like Gaza, Northern Ireland etc. Having been brought up as a Catholic (a position that I no longer hold) I can see why many people attend to religion. It gives people faith, something to fall back on when times are tough, a good set of morals (help thy neighbour etc.) and a bit of belief in life. I think that's where my approval of organised religion stops. I have no problem with people holding religious values, as long as they don't oppress anyone in the process or try and indoctrinate the others to their side of things. Unfortunately, the state of modern religion seems to be exactly that. As for God existing or not, nobody has a definitive answer. That's probably because it's impossible to answer. There are always some uncertainties in life, and this is one of them.
  9. I've watched various videos of them at Glasto, and I have to say it looks like it'll be great. I think in the end it will boil down to what I fancy most on that night. And Beyonce's new song is awful, all she's done is say "Girls" over the top of a very good original remix by Major Lazer (which I recommend you listen to, it's an excellent track). Dirge.
  10. Oh, and I made a Spotify playlist of some newish music that i'm into at the moment - a fair few of the acts on there are playing at Glasto so worth a listen. Death of a Disco Dancer
  11. Only a few weeks left now, dead excited for Glasto this year! Got a dilemma though for Saturday night: Chemical Brothers on the Other Stage OR Newton Faulkner, Guillemots and Flogging Molly on the Avalon Stage. I've seen Faulkner and Guillemots countless times but they're always quality live (Guillemots is an acoustic performance too which ought to be great), but not seen either Chems or Molly. Help?
  12. Was with us as a youth player up until about 2008 I think, then we released him and he went to Salt Lake (I think) and now LA. Think he's the U23 captain of the US team.
  13. Not a fan of boxing but saw the press conference between DeGale and Groves on SSN the other day - what a cocky c*nt DeGale is.
  14. I would though.
  15. Well done Wimbledon! Will be nice to see a Wimbledon team back in the FL. All we need now is for Franchise to drop down to the Ryman..
  16. Rangers and Celtic are easily the same size clubs as Liverpool etc, even if they don't have the same history or as good a squad. If a 2-tier Premier League is implemented I would like to see them in it. After all, the English Leagues contain Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and Wrexham. Not that much of a leap to include a few Scottish clubs as well.
  17. I can see these 4 fiery blokes riding around on horses in the sky above my flat - is there an Air Show on or something?
  18. Good to see we're keeping a lot of the squad together, this'll be the 3rd year with most of the squad playing together. Can only be a good thing. Shame to see some of the young'uns getting released, but they're all good players and will be snapped up in no time. No more Pulis either
  19. I have to say, that is a ferking strong squad Pearcy has got there. A line-up like this would easily compete in the Prem: --------------------------LOACH------------------------- RICHARDS----------JONES-------SMALLING----------GIBBS --------------HENDERSON-------RODWELL---------------- ALBRIGHTON------------------------------------WILSHERE -----------------CARROLL-------WELBECK----------------
  20. As MLG said, it was QPR that put the bid in. They put a bid of £2.5m in earlier, willing to go up to £3.5m.
  21. If I wanted to see a load of men with tiny cocks, I would read an EDL forum.
  22. Thanks for posting that, just applied. Would be nice to be involved with the foundation somehow.
  23. www.brotherscider.co.uk/news/win-a-glastonbury-festival-pack Go for it guys!
