  1. I was reading the free paper Metro on the train on the way in this morning. They claim creditors meeting yesterday resulted in an agreement for a CVA. Chainrai and small creditors to be paid in full, major creditors to take 20p in the pound, payable over 5 years. Link here : http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/824958-portsmouth-reach-cva-deal-with-creditors-at-debt-level-hits-138m Is this reliable? Should we be pleased for the blue end?
  2. OK, let you off. :-) Sounds like you might have to give them your ticket as well, if Tote don't produce. Now that, sir, would impress me much! :-)
  3. Totesport will be glad to know the tickets are going to such a happy recipient ... not. Never mind selling them, why not walk over to West Quay and give them a kid in a Saints shirt and his mum/dad. There's more happiness in giving than there is in receiving. (Acts 20:35)
  4. Since I contribute there and here, I resent (or is resemble?) that remark. Latest name is Gary Hooper (S****horpe). Word on the street is he had a medical last night. Keep schtum. Official announcement to follow ....
  5. Agree the first part - if he is going to sack AP, then do it next week, so a new manager has time to work on the squad and build relationships, NOT a week before the new season starts. Can't agree the second part - I'll sulk. As fans we have to let NC know we're not happy with AP losing his job, so I suggest we bombard NC with e-mails of protest if it happens.
  6. How come Lambert on and off again inside 12 mins? Injury?
  7. Well, you win the prize for the only post to make me laugh out loud in the office. Hey, getting the old chap out, haven't we all done that at one time or another? (rhetorical question, unless anyone has a story to tell)
  8. Thanks for raising this, it crossed my mind as well .... I'd be a YES. Can play at both CB and RB. Problem is that Fulham are playing him now, so would he drop 2 divisions?? And to answer the question above : he left because we were offered 3mil for him, so Rupee did the deal in a flash. So YES, Chris Baird, please come back home.
  9. Now being RELEASED by West Brom, so a good target.
  10. They won't go bust, though. David 'Kid' Jensen to the rescue!!!
  11. I just hope no-one can find the poll and thread from the beginning of the season where we had to predict where we would end up this season. It was something like 10 games in, and at the time we were not doing much to even get back the -10. I predicted 'relegation places'! How wrong was I!!!! And happy to be proved wrong!
  12. With the latest article on the OS (ticket priority process) "encouraging" us to get along to SMS for the final home games, I would think we'd be looking at 23,000 minimum.
  13. So almost half of it will go the players and clubs owed money? I'd sooner see it paid to non-football creditors who NEED the money - the print companies, Pukka Pies etc
  14. Who knows, nobody can forecast what will happen to Forecast? (boom boom)
  15. The papers say a 2 year deal, Krissy says 3 year, TDD is right - why not a 5 year deal for a 5 year plan? Include a review after year 3, by all means.
  16. Heck guys, you EXPECT us to come top next season? I'd put that down as HOPE for me. I EXPECT us to be challenging for promotion. Let's not set the level of expectation too high, or we can only be disappointed. If we go in as 1st is expected, 2nd is disappointing, 3rd is 'sack the manager', that will be transmitted to the manager and players, and they will play with pressure and fear. We could be setting ourselves up to fail like this.
  17. I liked it when he was off roaming the Dales with Compo and Foggy. If he gets in, will we have to wear tweed jackets with leather elbow patches?
  18. That's because they WANT to work whereas so many here are more focused on benefits!
  19. I agree with that, similarly named user name. :-)
  20. I can't even get it play back highlights. I expected to be prompted for my sign on and password ONCE but it is stuck in a loop - sign in (it welcomes me), I click the content, it prompts for sign in, I sign in, I click the content, it prompts for sign in ..... aaarrgggghhhh
  21. ^^ I'd take that scoreline, f'sure (as Harry would say). We've all got to keep our pecker up if Hudders win tonight. Keep believing until we can't get enough points. Don't stopp belieevvvinnnn, hold on to your dreams .......
  22. Or Southampton's Goal Machine aka Morgan Schneiderlin. :-)
  23. We're assuming Millwall will go all out for a win, rather than play for a draw in this one and exert themselves in upcoming games? Have to hope they have the stomach for a battle tonight, as I expect Udders will go all guns blazing.
  24. That would be my view as well. A little premature this thread.
