Absolutely, no Saints fans should be posting on the Donny forum. That is out of order. He has the right to be loyal to his current employer until he signs elsewhere. Tyson is a forward, Stock a midfielder. Looking at one doesn't impact the other.

Remembering his sister, the family are from 'oop north' but resident down here. Maybe he was a big Man U fan at one time ... but at one time I thought Liebfraumilch was a good wine! :-)

No one worried at the level of spending..?
the saint in winchester replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
Actually, DD, I share your concern and responsible fans should. As you say, we are relying on the wallet of one man, and if he needs to withdraw his funding (for any reason) we don't want to be left in meltdown. The chaps down the road know all about that - first Mandaric folds up, then Gaydamak comes and goes, now some shady Al-someone ... they don't know where the money is. So yes, financial prudence (as PM Brown would exhort) is the way forward. Let's not go mad with high wages and long contracts. Slow steady growth please, rather than throwing huge money at it. -
+1 We had this whole argument before the Norwich JPT game and I still think now we are so close to Wembley, we have to make that priority number one. A genuine chance of silverware and a morale boosting day out at Wembley for us fans. Tidy!

Only the best come from Winchester. Not sure Brian Stock did, tbh.

Yes, Mr Brian Stock. Love it. Get in. Cracking!

Another 'big' signing, according to JackanorySFC

I hope it IS Brian Stock. Cracking player! Tidy! I feels it. But ... am I the only one concerned this may be an indication that Lallana may be going? -
I liked it. It made me smile. If he knows we have a song for him, that might encourage him to sign. Or not. :-)

Really? I had Solent commentary in my ears (while at the match) and Big Dave said "that's Schiederlin's 5th booking, so a one match ban." Who is right? You or Merrington?

I was there. I thought Morgan had a cultured game. Just wish he would shoot rather than spray passes sometimes.
-
Still misguided, Vectis? You wanted our premier team and they were poor (I know 'cos I was there!). My team would have played better. I never underestimated Luton. I always knew they would play well, and they certainly did. I just didn't mind losing, if that's what happened. Now we have Morgan on a suspension and another half dozen fagged out for next week. If we lose on Sat, I'll expect an apology from you? Just hope we don't get Leeds in next round. They were quality today.

I hope you don't manage staff in your job. Such a negative view of people. And detached from reality.

------------- Obviously, AP picks the team. This is a fans forum and we all get to fantasy pick our teams. So what if we lose? It's not the end of the world. We may have 7 days before the next game, but we should be using our squad, and we don't. If we play out strongest 11 every game, then we should sell off a dozen players in Jan as they'll never make the starting lineup. I know Davis match fit, that's why I said to play him, to get match fit. Molyneaux IS good enough - clearly you don't watch reserve games? Pair him with Holmes and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Your most telling phrase is "don't care what anyone says". That's your attitude. It's a game of opinions and I'm entitled to express my opinion. Picking the same team every game will get injuries, so you;ll get your way! Happy now?

Guys, we have 7 games in January. We have to play the fringe players tomorrow, of all days. If we lose, so be it. FA Cup is not top priority this year. JPT and the league out-rank the FA Cup! Davis Argent Trotman Martin Molyneaux Wotton (DM) Gobern (wide right) Holmes (wide left) McLaggon (AM) Saganowski Paterson --------------------------------------------------------------------- Kelvin needs gave to achieves match fitness and compete for the gloves. Sam Argent, each time I see him the reserves, impresses me. He's a dedicated RB and we need one of those to fill in for Murty, freeing up Lloydy for midfield. Trotters may as well play for us (if allowed). Aaron Martin deserves to get a game. Gobern and Holmes deserve to get a game, too. Wotton is right for this - a bit of steel among the young players. Saga - last chance scenario - play to get a contract somewhere.

I think you'll find its on ITV. Sinitta to win for me ... but then I'm that age! http://www.mirror.co.uk/celebs/news/2009/12/20/dancing-on-ice-line-up-is-revealed-115875-21910192/

I'm sure KD would be pleased that Bart has done well and wouldn't want to take his place at this stage.
-
I certainly like to go to games now with a high hope of seeing us win the game! I'd rather that than be a Prem struggling side, having to target winnable games and put the reserves out against the big guns (like McCarthy at Wolves this week). I'm enjoying the ride. It's good to go into work on Monday and tell everyone that we won again.
-
It was probably tongue in cheek, but AP was saying "imagine Beckford and Lambert playing together". Don't tease us, Alan .... unless you can make it happen. IMO, I can't see him leaving the top side in the league with a 90% chance of promotion for a midtable side. Unless we can double his wages?

Should Pardew rest players in JPT game ahead of Leeds?
the saint in winchester replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
That may be a tongue-in-cheek remark but I wouldn't argue against going that very thing. -
Should Pardew rest players in JPT game ahead of Leeds?
the saint in winchester replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
NO ... only idiots would put so more store on an away game against the runaway leaders of the league over a genuine chance of Wembley and silverware, given the position we are in. -
Sorry if someone has already raised this - its late, I can't read every post in full .... I saw earlier a comment that Ap is likely to rest the 4 players on 4 yellows as he wants to take a full strength side to Leeds. Concerned. I'd like to win this match as it gets us closer to our day out at Wembley and silverware in the cupboard. I'd chance it. If any of them get another booking and suspended for the weekend, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Let's go for the win.

One simple post to let y'all know that AP was in Winchester High St ... and it leads to me being outed as Mark Oaten!!!! Not even close. I feel like a local celebrity all of a sudden. My name is ... my name is ... (as Eminem would say)
