You just have to look at the Reading West Brom result to realise how far Saints have come. We could so easily have done a West Brom and conceded in the last 10. But we fought to the death. It's a huge result for us.

In his post match interview, Nigel admitted that he could possibly have brought on some fresh legs, namely Davis for Cork. But he didn't want to upset the balance of the game against us. It's a call he has to make. Obviously he decided to do it against Liverpool. As people are saying, I wonder why he doesn't play Mayuka. Liverpool should have scored a lot more goals against us. They're not as bad as people are making out. They were firm favourites to win. Very true. We haven't yet got the kudos to get those kind of penalties in the premier league. We're regarded as a championship side a bit above our station which will be very lucky not to get relegated. Ramirez could easily get those penalties awarded if he chose to play for a more fashionable club. But things could change. Keep the hope! Live the dream!
