I like the Jack Cork one, but for £17? Pass.

With Foster due to leave this summer, if I were a Brum fan, I'd be saying that Butland will be their new number one and would be better off staying with them and getting some decent playing time and experience. From a Saints fans point of view? Yes please - a young goalkeeper in the England team. Would be great at Kelvin's protege.

Summer 2012 HCDAJFU Thread - Premier League Special Edition

This. Chaplow won't want to leave now we're back in the Premier League, and could rightly say no, which would put the whole deal in jeopardy. I can't see Cortese and Adkins risking a target like this. I would think it'll end up being a straight £7million transfer, with a sneaky wink if they wish to buy Chaplow afterwards. I hope we keep Chaplow though. Keep him fit and he would be a useful battler in the Premier League. -
Barry out, Jagielka in. Good news for England IMO but did anyone have Barry in their team in the first place?

We need to sign Nick Powell from Crewe! 18 years old, Matt Le Tissier-esque player. Scored a cracker in their play-off final but has been doing it all season. He's a goalscoring midfielder which is what we need too. Stuff the big 6 clubs interested in him, let's make Southampton attractive and lure him here. There's no bad side to this transfer. -
I'm a Saints fan first and an England fan a distant second, but I do hope we do well. I can see the logic in taking Butland or Ruddy though - gives a young keeper experience at a tournament. We don't need another ageing pro - Hart and Green will cover the first two spots - how often is it that a national team ever needs their third keeper in a tournament? (I acknowledge it CAN happen though...)

There's a pretty good fruit used in our household for sexual gratification. The humble Cumquot. The answer's in the name. My missus can do the ping pong ball trick with one of those bad boys.

Fantastic publicity stunt IMO. Spain telling people not to vote for them because they can't afford to host it means people are more likely to vote for them. That's the way I see it anyway. Will United Kingdom ever win again? I doubt it. I'm surprised we keep funding it.

How many, Uhmm, 'Returning Fans' have you come across?
SNSUN replied to Secret Site Agent's topic in The Saints
THIS. Not Saints fans, I get fed up with people calling me a johnny come lately when I've been supporting Saints since '89, but READING 'fans' are coming out the walls all around me. Granted I live in Berkshire, went to school near Reading, and am friends with Reading's new owner (I use 'friends' with Anton in the loosest way possible, although we have been conversing since our respective promotions), but so many of my friends that have shown no interest in FOOTBALL, let alone READING, female principally, have appeared around me this season. And then had a poke at my expense over 'their' team beating my team to the title. Annoys the hell out of me, not as much as West Ham fans have this season. I sincerely hope we **** both next season. -
Although in '83, we were the Arsenal of the day. So really it'd be like Arsenal signing Messi, which sounds less silly.

She's welcome to half of everything I own. (Half of eff all is eff all.) Oh wait, she can have half of all my Saints stuff. As a Norwich fan, she'd love it. :-)

My best mate had that at his wedding. ANother wedding I went to had Eric Clapton's Change The World. Still debating, but my personal favourite so far is Andy Williams "Let There Be Love". She wants Take That's "Million Love Songs" or some **** by Michael Buble. Old songs are just better IMO. Discussions continue. I'll let you know what we choose after the wedding.

Useful - that's the version I'm currently playing. Apparently City see him in their starting XI in the next few years, so they're expecting big things. Would be a good season long loan, leaving the cash to be spent on other positions.

I should think this is the case with most of the player names that end up being discussed on messageboards. -

I'm guilty here. That was a rumour I started on Football Rumours to see if it would filter back on here. Seems I was right! Kjaer is one of the top defenders in Europe and is joining Roma, his loan club. Not. A. Chance. Now if we can get that Andreas Bellend fella... -
8 minutes would be a record for me for anything...:-D Stand By Me by Ben E King has caught my attention...

Just over two weeks until our wedding, and the future Mrs SNSUN and I have a list of songs as long as your arm to use as a first dance. The song that we consider "our song" isn't a song you can dance (or even sway) to, so that rules that out. Now we need to find a song with a decent tune, decent beat, apt lyrics and that doesn't go on forever. The trouble is the more songs we hear, the longer the list grows, as we like so much stuff. To those of you married (or divorced of course), what was your first dance wedding song and what did it mean to you? Does anybody have any good suggestions?
-
I'm in. I'd be happier seeing 'FutureSaintsXI' at the bottom of the table than the top. For comedy value. Plus there's a player called Bellend. He HAD to get a place in my team...

A big name signing would generate a similar level of feel good factor one would assume.

I have amazeballs under my amazepenis. :-D Matt Oakley released by Leicester. Just mentioning it, tis all. -
Unbelievable scenes. Unbelieveable. That has to have bought the managers job for Di Matteo. With a depleted team, in Bayern's own back yard, Wow. Just wow, that was freaking amazing. Oh, and Redknapp? **** YOU!!!!!

Good enough to find another team, if he can stay fit, but not sure anyone will want him because of his injury record. God speed and thanks Dave.
