Gordon Strachan taught me to never underestimate a managerial appointment, but I'd be underwhelmed. Whoever gets appointed must not only get us back to the Championship but also make us competitive enough to fight for promotion to the Premiership. Adkins? Howe? I'm not so sure. A week ago I genuinely thought we'd got the season started with the Bristol Rovers performance. A week later and we've lost our manager and been spanked at home by Swindon and lost two key players through injury and suspension. This game should be a walk over, no disrespect to Rochdale, but after recent events I don't know what to think. We can win, but it won't be big. 2-0. Lambert alone up front, Dickson wide left, Guly in the middle.

I was in the best of health earlier, then i get back from the game and have the Squits. It may be the terrible performance, but it's more likely to be the burger I had from the van outside the ground. Or a combination of both... We need a new manager fast, or this apathy will grow. New manager, loan signings, and better performances, or Cortese better ring Lowe for tips on avoiding lynch mobs.
