  1. I had a £5 each way on DOn't Push it, and won £110 quid as I got it at 16s. All in all, I spent £50 on the National so I've made £60. (Although I lost £50 at Cheltenham this year, so I'm up a £10er!) Saints won, Pompey down, good weekend.
  2. Whoop Whoop I'm going to have a parrrrrtay! ...If I didn't now have to go to work...
  3. 5 each ways in a kind of syndicate: Mon Mome, Don't push it, CLoudly Lane, My WIll, Snowy Morning. Cloudy Lane is a small one, because my name is C(hris) Lane, Don't push it I'm hoping will place, Snowy Morning to win IMO. As you should all know by now though, do not bet on these horses because every bet I make fails to win me money. Seriously. If I win money today, I may do a little wee.
  4. I always thought my missus was a fatty fat fatty, but seeing some of these women makes me view my beloved in a different light...
  5. I had her before she was famous. Try and prove it otherwise...
  6. I thought they couldn't play Dindane because they couldn't afford him and so he went back to Lens? (I think it was?) My money is on Piquionne, which probably means it isn't, because anything I put my money on doesn't come in.
  7. If Harry ****s it up on Sunday, he is a useless twonk and I think I may hunt him down. The only good thing he can ever do for Saints fans (aside from heaping debt on the fishes) is beat Pompey on Sunday. I have a nagging feeling he'll muff it up.
  8. I just did the Beeb predictor as realistically as I could, and we got more points than I wrote yesterday, but we still finished in 7th, TEN POINTS behind Huddersfield. (I still think that even if we win all our games it won't be enough, the sides above us will be so desperate to grab those spots.) Of course, with the next two games being our hardest, two wins would certainly scare the heebeejeebies out of the sides further up, nerves could get to them, and 78 points would be enough.
  9. So the gold paintbrush thing above the badge not going ahead then... :-) FWIW It'd be nice to have a mini replica Football League Trophy with Saints's name on it.
  10. +1 It'll be a farce, just like all other awards. Hope Leeds don't go up and Beckford signs for a team who realises how average he is, and he sits on the bench for the next four years.
  11. We'll end up with 71 points IMO. Even with an undefeated run and ending up on 78 points, I still don't think it will be enough, Huddersfield will get more than 10 points.
  12. I notice Fish nipped over to the Kingsland on Monday to sign some autographs for the kids that were standing by the advertising hoardings during the warm up, so lung power and an eager expression could work too.
  13. SOmeone's said it before - stick Lallana, Morgan and Lambert in a wardrobe, stick a man with a machine gun outside, and keep them there all summer. We need signings, not sales, if we're to go up next season. Wolves can bugger off. Although if they feel obliged to give us Surman back, we'll take him on a cheapy.
  14. I'll be looking forward to each and every game until the end of the season, despite my opinion that the season is already over for us. For those that still believe, a win is a must against Charlton, and for every game left, but even though we're at home, I just don't see it happening. I reckon this game has draw written all over it, 2-2.
  15. Kraft Cheesy Creme Eggs.
  16. I'd never thought of voting for UKIP before, but the survey was overwhelmingly biased towards them. Followed by the Torys.
  17. If I wasn't a fat, alcoholic waste of space, I wouldn't mind becoming a fireman, but you need some serious balls to do the job, and this incident highlights why. RIP to the guys - partners of fire personnel must cack themselves when their other halves go off to work. I'll stick with my safe job working on the most bombable metro system in the world at the site of the most bombable place in Britain.
  18. I reckon supporting Windsor and Eton FC takes up too much of your Saints supporting time. And makes you a glory supporter. Pah...
  19. If I worry about the other teams fixtures, I would never get any sleep at night. Quite simply, Saints have to win all seven of our remaining games. Do that, and fate will do the rest. To be honest, if we go into the last game vs Southend with a chance of getting into (or even staying in) the play-offs, that'll be fine with me.
  20. So far...
  21. Antonio with 5 or Waigo with 15, I'd have a punt on!
  22. The worst I've seen Saints play this season, but we won, and that's the most important statistic of all. Orient's early goal was from poor defending, and after that they just tried to stick men behind the ball. They were better than us, and we will have to improve a shed load if we want to beat Charlton and Brizzle and finish the season off undefeated. We looked woeful at times, but it's times like these that you want your best players to step up, and thankfully, we have Adam Lallana. A MOTM performance for us, easier to nominate after some (as Pardew puts it) "quiet" performances from others. It was a shame to lose Jaidi but thought Seaborne was ok when he came on - though he doesn't seem to challenge for headers as much as Jaidi. Harding was, I am loathe to say it as he's my fave player, poor. I though Fonte, Hammond and Lallana all had good games, I expect more from Morgan (although not fully fit), Puncheon, Harding and Semi. Barnard was a hard worker before he came off, but Lambert was quiet, assist aside, and hardly won a header all day. Credit to the Orient lads, but we won, and at the end of the day, I would take seven more shyte performances and win, that seven amazing performances and lose.
  23. I don't know why, but I'm pretty confident of a resounding win for us tomorrow. New manager syndrome won't kick in hopefully.
  24. Having got over my chronic shyness/agoraphobia/lazyness/skintness of previous seasons when I only managed a handful of games, this season I will have been to 12 games by the end of the season. The reason I can't go to more games? Shiftwork, the biggest social life killer that I have ever experienced.
  25. They're in good form. If you want your team to be in form, then this is the time of the season to do it. They beat us 1-0 at St Mary's, with our home form as good as it is, and deserve to be where they are on merit. I still think Millwall will sneak the auto spot though. If we do make the play-offs, they're going to be bloody tough this season.
