  1. We have the funding to keep all our players. Unless a bid comes in which is ridiculous, such as £5million for Lallana, then the only way we would have to sell is if the player wanted to go. Keep them sweet, cheer them on and show them all how much we appreciate them!

    Summer!

We'll need a CM, a pacy striker, and another CB IMO, with most likely a RB of we don't keep Semi. CM is the most important area, and it'd be a playmaker. Shock move for Richard Chaplow or (even more of a shock considering which league he's going to end up in) Wes Hoolahan!
  3. The season is already over, barring the JPT Final, in terms of which league we'll be in next season. Just forget the play-offs, enjoy the final, and enjoy each game as it comes. These last few games of the season are all about practise for next season. Let the first team play together as much as possible so they become nearly telepathic for next season, and FFS don't sell any of them in the summer! Massively looking forward to the Huddersfield game. After the disappointment of the Pompey game, I've been itching to get back to St Mary's, and now even more so after Saturday's win. This'll be a tough'un, it won't be as nearly as open as the Walsall game, Huddersfield are, by all intense and purpose, better than Walsall, and we much expect a tough game. Perform solid defensively, and we've always got that quality to nick a goal. This'll be the sort of game where the big players stand up and get counted - and I think there'll be a Lambert goal. I'm going for a tight game, 2-1.
  4. I'm happy with him. I do hope he's our manager for a long time to come, HOWEVER I wouldn't be the bit slightest if we let him go if we're not in the top 6 by Christmas. I would share that view too...
  5. Cheer up Alan P, Oh what can it mean, To be the Saints supremo Not the boss of Pompeeeeeeeeeee...
  6. It's like chatting up a woman in a club, getting a slap in the face for groping her jubblies, and ending up getting laid in the bogs. I said on the pre-match thread I had a dream about a big scoreline last night, and I wasn't wrong. Muchos looking forward to Tuesday night, I'll be there hoping we can carry this form on. Bring it ON! Well done to all the lads today, shame I'll be in bed for the highlights. (Stupid work again...)
  7. Stupid work getting in the way of my Saints experience. I'd quit my job, if only I had free money given to me so that I could still afford to attend the games, eat and have somewhere to live. Meh, I'll stick with going to the games I CAN get to. Roll on Tuesday!
  8. Lallana - he's really crap isn't he.
  9. Wycombe now only 4-3 down!
  10. ...and a shed load of bad luck. I like Lallana, he's been stuck on the left of midfield for the majority of this season and he doesn't complain, just gets on with it. I don't think he's the finished article yet either, he can only get better.
  11. Getting bored now. More Saints goals please.
  12. 4-2 now. Wycombe fighting back... Pompey penalty, oh noes. :-( Yebda scores. Come on Burnley!
  13. I'm going to love it if Ricky and Lee keep trying to outdo each other to be top scorer! The more they try, the more goals we get! 4-1 - we want 5! And a Burnley goal to boot.
  14. Whoop whoop. Job done, 3 points. Good performance lads. Oh it's not FT? I'm just so used to that damn scoreline being a result. Ho hum, time for 3 more then?
  15. Who needs Paterson, we've got Barnard! :-) (Still sad to see Pato go...)
  16. I love sex... ...AND I LOVE SAINTS!!!!!! 3-1 get the **** in there.
  17. It took half an hour, but it's coming... ...oh and I'm also pleased about the score down at St Marys.
  18. Whoop whoop, home from work, turn on SSN and we are at 1-1. Just my luck. Knowing Saints slow starts, I wasn't expecting even one goal this early, yet alone two! That'll be 82 minutes with no more goals then. :-D Come on Saints, time to do something impressive. On the pitch.
  19. Not a chance. If they get rid of him they won't do it before the summer at least. Why bring in a new manager at the tail end of the season? No window to bring in his own players, and not much of a chance to make an impact. We'll be comfortably in a high mid-table position at the end of the season IMO, and with the Wembley final and a potential trophy on its way, it would be silliness.
  20. So much for being PROFESSIONAL footballers. All respect to our ex-player, and I know it's not his fault, but what happens off the pitch shouldn't influence what happens on it. It's poor sportsmanship not to shake your opponents hand. That said, I do hope Bridgey gets the opportunity to nut Terry at some point. Worth watching MOTD for...
  21. TBF I was going to spend that weekend in Brighton. Then I realised it was a cack hole. I'll be spending my entrance money instead on the Leyton Orient game on Easter Monday.
  22. Thumbs up for this thread. :-) I have one ticket to the area final at St Marys, although I need 4. I've told the three others that wish to come to Wembley that they can get lost, as long as I get my ticket on Monday, I'm happy! (Although I suppose if there's enough tickets in the restricted general sale, I'll just buy 4 then and sell the other...)
  23. I have a dream... ...ok, HAD a dream last night that we "click" and romp this one with a big scoreline. I'm usually wrong, so I won't be putting a bet on. Can't underestimate Walsall, they are where they are on merit.
  24. I was told our programme is reasonably priced compared to some. I can't get to many games, but I always buy a programme as it enhances the experience and gives me something to flick through at half time, as opposed to standing in a queue a mile long for a pie and a pint. Content-wise, aside from the managers notes and info on some of the oppositions players we're up against, it's not worth it IMO. (Unless you happen to be sat close to the camera in the pre-match build up and get a signed shirt for waving it like a loony.)
  25. Would our rivalry extend to administrators, or would that be taking it too far? As they've not appointed Fry, it's a moot point, but I'm glad they chose someone else! HANDS OFF OUR ADMINISTRATOR!
