  1. I was well off then! If available from the ticket office I reckon it wouldn't have taken this long... ;-)
  2. I think most Saints fans already have their colours - I go to the games in my Saints shirt, hat and scarf, and never forget giving Matt Le Tiss a good rubbing/kiss, and that's what I'll be doing again at Wembley. I'm at the Hartlepool game the week before so I MAY pick up a foam finger from the Megastore...
  3. Nope! When I rang up last week for the JPT area final ticket bit, the lady asked where I wanted to sit - and I said I didn't care as long as I get to be there! (Although she gave me a very favourable seat on the halfway line...:-D)
  4. Can't be a Saint then. Any Saint would feel the pride in their community and want as many other Saints fans at the game as possible. Face Value is all it should be. P.S, I may have two tickets going spare, £100 each.
  5. In spite of my laziness, I read the whole OP and I am pretty much where you are. Just because I'm enjoying this season doesn't mean I'm disappointed with how our league placing has turned out - however I do think we've got more wins in us than other results before the end of the season. I have pride in my club this season, the mickey taking from the pedants at work that I received last season and the one before has evaporated, replaced with pats on the back and "I had Saints in my accumulator the other day and I won £200. Thanks". I've personally spent more money on Saints this season in tickets, merchandise and travel than I've ever spent before, it's draining my finances! (Totally worth it though). I've even gone so far to put Saints's fixture list into my work diary, so I know which games I can/can't get to. I've never been this committed to Saints before (which I regret, there were many factors), and I'm loving it. I don't want to have a go at the negative posters per se, it's only themselves they are alienating, but I draw the line at anyone berating me for being positive about Saints. Yes, I'm positive, but that doesn't mean I'm not realistic. Play-offs this season were always going to be a tough goal, automatic promotion next season is actually more likely, considering the side we'll have, the rebuilding time, the gelling time and the lack of a points deduction. Next season, the only people to blame, WILL be the playing staff. Fingers crossed they give us very little to blame them for...
  6. I said that on the other thread! Seemed like the OP had stumbled across a clever ruse to make us all ring in and give our card details for nothing! (While I did see that as a joke, I did partly buy my tickets online today as insurance... :-))
  7. If people have been worried about the end of the world because of that thing, then that's a good move. Pumping billions of Euros into it, is not. Scientists really know how to waste money... We don't know the full story there. Maybe they don't want to let in more Saints fans, after all, we hardly come with the reputation as the nicest bunch of fans in the country, thanks to the small few that insist on causing grief. There are still other ways of getting tickets, I should expect to see quite a few for sale on this board in the next couple of weeks.
  8. I can understand your confusion! (It's where I'm at.) Send an emergency email to the ticket office, and cross your fingers. Good Luck.
  9. lolz, apart from their season ticket holders and 9 friends, it may very well be all Saints fans in that stadium. "Dellbley" (Has a better ring than St Marybley's)
  10. Have you bought tickets online before? (Hence being on the database?) It may be that the block you chose is selling out. Click another block. :smt059
  11. At this rate, my guess in the sweep for the time the tickets sell out at is: 09:42
  12. I got two error messages then got straight through. Just keep trying. Don't forget, there were 4,000 tickets left this morning, I expect most of those are already gone (judging from what was available online when I chose), and tons more people are still after the tickets. Keep trying if you want to join in the action, buying from touts is illegal and expensive.
  13. Judging from the tickets left on sale, there aren't a lot left. Work fast people, wish you the best of luck.
  14. God bless the online system. I booked my one ticket last week as I had a JPT ticket, but my mate wanted two more so he could take his missus. Got 'em! Nice - so If the T/O ****s up the sending out of tickets, at least I have two opportunities of getting a ticket... ;-) (God bless the T/O)
  15. We're inconsistant, so losing to Tranmere should mean that we whip the pants off of Leeds. IMO it'll be a close one, but I would like to see them slip up and fall into the play-off spots at the end of the season (for a giggle), so I hope we win this one. 2-1 Saints IMO, and I wish I could be there. :-(
  16. The play-off dream has been long over. It's a shame, but that's just how our season has shaped up. Next season is going to be AWESOME. Keep the important players, add to them if need be, and make the assault next year. We need to teams - a pretty team that can play football like we did last Tuesday, and an ugly team that can win on the shyte pitches. Well done Tranmere, but even a draw wouldn't have been good enough. Still, more wins than draws or losses to the end of the season, and we can sleep easy in the summer.
  17. ...in terms of how good he's become in a short time! He's in great form.

I'm going naked. This way, I'll save money on the tat.
  19. He was my MOTM on TUesdazy night and fully deserves this award. He's clicked, and his attack with Rickie is looking awesome. Keep them both in the summer, and we'll be laughing. He had a slow start while bedding in, but proved his knockers wrong and is now flying. He's a real try hard.

    Tranmere Build-up

A third 5 goal win in a row, and I may actually re-whitewash the walls of my home...

    Tranmere Build-up

I agree with one nil, but it'll be Papa's knob that gets the goal. (Even more impressive seeing as he'll be on the bench at the time.) It'll no doubt be a shyte pitch, but any win will be acceptable, we need to start winning ugly. 1-0 is my prediction too.

I thought the Megastore was already selling flags. I was going to pop in there before the Hartlepool game.
  23. Not necessarily Phil. I work at Heathrow, and as long as you get a hotel on the Bath Road, or book a room at the Jury's Inn outside Hatton Cross Station, then all buses are free and they run all night. It's part of the Heathrow freeflow system. The 285 is my bus of choice when I'm working lates. I do agree though, that there are many more hotels, and better ones in London that can be just as cheap.
  24. Both. Drop Rickie, he's guff.
  25. After the game I got in my car in Lime Street, drove back to Surrey and had to be straight to bed to be up at 5:15 today for work! Hence no posting from me last night. Flawless performance. If I HAVE to look for negatives, which I am loathe to do, then Jaidi's clearances weren't brilliant last night. Umm, that's it. Oh, and I hit my back on the advertising hoarding in the Kingsland on the Camera run. There, I said it. MOTM Puncheon for most people I would expect, but Barnard for me.
