I think 88/89 was the first season all games were televised and that's when they started - with a 4 0 win against West Ham, 1 0 win at qpr, 2 1 against Luton maybe, and then Glendale being crocked at Highbury (from memory).

I was there. Can't remember anything much about the game but I expect I left early for a quick swim in the sea, like usual.
