  1. Has it been established whether Gaston was the all time most drawn-out saints web signing of all time? I'm not sure if it definitely surpassed Rudi Skachel, or if there have been others I've forgotten.
  2. Spain and Hungary? Puskas in the making.
  3. Why was the related spoof post 'flabbergasted' locked? That was the funniest thing I have read on here in ages. Should have had a warning on it not to read somewhere where it was not appropriate to laugh out loud - such as in the big at work..
  4. It's good that we most like bompey and in return they most dislike us. I like them even more now.
  5. Rupert Lowe?
  6. If liverpool have trodden on us, we must be an upturned plug - or at least a bit of lego.
  7. It's camera for me. Best away was "dellhurst park".
  8. Who knows, perhaps this alternative approach/prospect was part of the negotiation.
  9. Glender obvs
  10. I think 88/89 was the first season all games were televised and that's when they started - with a 4 0 win against West Ham, 1 0 win at qpr, 2 1 against Luton maybe, and then Glendale being crocked at Highbury (from memory).
  11. I was there. Can't remember anything much about the game but I expect I left early for a quick swim in the sea, like usual.
  12. Whoops- silly me, I meant 2076 1 May
  13. This will definitely change by the end of next season.
  14. It is actually very good. Much better than last nights effort.
  15. That's how I remember it - a split second whilst everyone thought "did that really just happen?" And the delirium.
  16. No time to discuss Spurs punched in opener either.
  17. Second to last on. Just between the two nil nil draws. Licensed to thrill.
  18. 20 for me - and several where I thought "that's a ridiculously obscure one, oh hang on I do recognise him, sadly".

  20. Toby or not Toby. That is the question.

  22. I don't remember us really having a good shot at the title in 83/84. Here's the table one month before the end: http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/division-one-old/1983-1984/table/1984-04-21 11 points off the top (albeit with 2 games in hand). I think the season when I really thought we might do it was a couple of years before that with Keegan in the team. Early February was probably when things looked most rosy: http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/division-one-old/1981-1982/table/1982-02-06
  23. http://youtu.be/2ca9PN_uBXc Airbrushed from history
  24. This is almost as stupid a suggestion as liverpool being in for Lambo.
