Also there. Remember the goal and shedding a tear. Also remember breathing a sigh of relief when Marsden didn’t add the fourth - I don’t think that was unique to people with a bet on the game! Remember leaving the ground for the last time. Oddly my season ticket was also upper east. Row B. Had it for about 15 years and it was an amazing view, as a few others have said. I was a bit disappointed at the SMS view by comparison.

Definitely camera, by some margin. I ended up about 10 yards down the aisle from my seat, with about 10 people, most of whom I didn’t know on the floor in the aftermath - and that was in the Itchen!

Liverpool (Home) - Membership numbers needed

Amazing request -
Mainly down to the current chap being nailed on to take us down.

But previously, the only reason I could possibly see for not acting was that there wasn’t anyone we could get in who would clearly be better - now there is. In my opinion, he’d be miles better.

Hughes could do a job for us?

Force the club into firing Pellegrino..

The old season tickets at The Dell made great red cards. -
This is how I felt too. There was a moment in the second half when he came out and caught the ball almost on the penalty spot and I thought, wow - not seen that for some time! FF fails to come off his line even by a few yards (Hudd and spurs in recent weeks) - so he can watch hopelessly as another free header from inside the six yards box hits the net. He should have been dropped for good after the debacle of the Chelsea free kick where he lined up the wall appallingly and then had his hands on his hips looking at the lino instead of being ready to move.

At least under Branfoot we looked like we were trying to score. He is starting to look ok in comparison.

Thanks To Our MD - Common Sense Prevails On Ticket 'Date' Pricing
Stud mark of doom replied to pluto's topic in The Saints
Morally unpleasant? Seriously? Most popular games are charged more. The date is relevant. (They could charge less for games at stupid times tho.....) -
Anyone know why this is a "sticky". Nothing confirmed yet?

Good chorus but I'm not sure the first verse works.

This is excellent. Well done. I can feel SMS reverberating to this at the weekend. I did wonder, given someone said the initial poster had not posted before, whether the first song was written by his agent, to help expedite things.

Rumours of takeover/investment interest
Stud mark of doom replied to eling-saint's topic in The Saints
Bit of a circular argument that one. The reason that it was reasonably easy to get a ticket was that the number of tickets for Wembley compared quite favourably with the size of our ground. -
Lineker sprang to my mind too.

Just spotted who should have been tracking long back but gives up after running half the length of the pitch, a bit too slow - lovely

Liverpool Away Build Up - SEMI FINAL
Stud mark of doom replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
All this talk on Stephens and lack of experience for such a big match reminds me that Chris Baird did fine in the cup final with virtually no experience -
That's good to know. Liverpool haven't beaten us by more than a single goal at anfield since 2002.
-
No doubt this is covered elsewhere but I can't see it. Do away goals count double in the semi? Perhaps only after extra time?
-
Me and all the people around me couldn't book our normal season ticket seats because we are in that bit of the ground which was given over to "UEFA" - it was a real pain trying to gets seats for all my mates together and much worse seats. Full of away fans for all three games - but only the last lot had much to cheer about.
-
Might have varied around the stadium I'm sure. It was painfully loud in the itchen stand and well, well beyond acceptable levels in my book. I've had a season ticket for 30 years and I've never thought I would not renew. As my ears are still ringing today I would have to reconsider if that is repeated.

Anyone else think the new (I presume) Tannoy system is turned up far too loud? I found it impossible to talk to the people around me at half time or hear what they were trying to say. Still have a headache now. Might be just me - perhaps others enjoyed the 'musical' accompaniment? I was going to drop the club a line to complain - what's the best email address? Cheers
